In 1995, Guy and Daniele ARNAUD, with their daughters Carole, Agnes and Benedicte, became the owners of this great property. Thanks to their cultural heritage of the vine and their quality concern, Chateau Maucoil has kept the traditional working techniques.

At Chateau Maucoil, the picking is carried out as it was done in the olden days. Harvesting is hard but pleasant. Picking is done by hand to avoid the damage of the grapes. They are then picked out on a tray to eliminate the bad or the unripe grapes.

Their vinification method and temperature control gives the wines all their nobility and enables them to exhale all the aromas. The maturation in small and large barrels lasts 12 months. With this process, the wines develop fully with time.

Cecilia Beretta is the jewel in the Pasqua Group’s crown, and was created at the beginning of the 1980s as an agricultural estate and as a centre for research and advanced studies. The Pasqua family purchased the Mizzole, Mattaranetta and San Felice vineyards at the end of the 1940s. Particular attention has been devoted to these sites since the ‘80s, when Pasqua’s consolidation on international markets enabled the Company to dedicate significant resources to increasing the potential quality of its production.

These newly planted vineyards yielded their first grapes at the beginning of the 1990s. Marlborough – New Zealand

In the last 20 years the province of Marlborough has moved from virtual obscurity to become New Zealand’s largest and best-known wine region with a reputation for producing some of the world’s finest sauvignon blanc. This huge potential was something that was recognized back in 1983 by Jane Hunter and her late husband Ernie when they founded their first fledgling winery in the picturesque Wairau Valley. Since those early years Jane has been owner, viticulturist and managing director of what has become one of New Zealand’s most established , Hunter’s Wines. Under her expertise, the original vineyard area has increased by 2.5 times its original size and the company’s annual output has grown to around 60,000 cases of wine, nearly half of which is exported.
