Application by the EFTA States participating in the EEA 1.1 Iceland European works The seven covered channels broadcast an average of 39.6% European works in 2007 and 42.2% in 2008. This represents a 2.6 percentage point increase over the reference period. For 2007 and 2008, of the total of seven covered channels, three channels achieved the majority proportion specified in Article 4 of the Directive (Omega Television, RUV and Syn - Vision TV), while four channels didn't meet this target (Sirkus, Skjár 1, Stöð 2 and Stöð 2 Bio). The compliance rate, in terms of numbers of channels, was 42.9%. European works made by independent producers The average proportion of European works by independent producers on all reported channels was 10.7% in 2007 and 12.6% in 2008, representing a 1.9 percentage points increase over the reference period. In 2007, of the total of seven identified channels, two channels exceeded the minimum proportion under Article 5 of the Directive, while three channels remained below the target.     Tisková zpráva z 10. zasedání, konaného dne 20. 5. 2008 Rada pro rozhlasové a televizní vysílání - projednala stav licenčního řízení na kmitočet Benešov Kozmice 89,3 MHz/5 kW. Konstatovala, že s ohledem na probíhající soudní řízení týkající se exekuce na majetek jednoho z uchazečů o licenci doposud nemohla ukončit hodnocení a srovnání ekonomické připravenosti žadatelů o licenci, jak ukládá zákon 231/2001 Sb. Aby mohla Rada vyhovět zákonným požadavkům na licenční řízení, byla nucena odložit ukončení hodnocení zákonných kritérií a rozhodnutí do vyřešení sporu o nařízení exekuce soudem Rozdílné stanovisko Jiřího Šenkýře a Jana Kostrhuna k bodu č. 3 – 10. zasedání 2008: Neshledáváme důvod, aby Rada ještě odkládala rozhodnutí o udělení licence Benešov – Kozmice 89,3 MHz a to z důvodu řešení obchodního sporu dvou žadatelů o licenci. - udělila společnosti Broadcast Media s. r. o. podle § 18 zákona č. 231/2001 Sb. licenci k provozování rozhlasového vysílání prostřednictvím pozemních vysílačů na kmitočtu Plzeň centrum 97,5 MHz/100 W pro program Radio Beat na dobu 8 let, žádosti ostatních žadatelů zamítla - registrovala provozovateli FORCOM NET, s. r. o. dle 29 odst. 1 písm. c) a d) zákona č. 231/2001 Sb. změnu programové nabídky spočívající v registraci nových převzatých televizních programů: české: CS Film, Film+, HBO 2, HBO Comedy, Nova Cinema; zahraniční: EUROSPORT 2, Extreme Sports Channel, JimJam, MGM – Channel Central Europe, Sport 1, TV Paprika, TV Deko, Zone Club a Hustler TV s časovým rozsahem vysílání 23:00 – 05:00 h; územního rozsahu vysílání spočívající v rozšíření o kabelové systémy v katastrálních územích Orlová, Velká Bystřice, Olomouc-město, Nová Ulice, Nový Svět u Olomouce, Nové Sady u Olomouce, Hodolany, Klášterní Hradisko, Holice u Olomouce, Neředín, Řepčín, Hejčín, Lazce, Povel, Slavonín, Krnov- Horní Předměstí, Opavské Předměstí, Krásné Loučky - registrovala provozovateli BKS Capital Partners a.
