United States: Date added 17 May 2019 1. Still wine: Historical revisions were necessary for still wine in order to accurately depict the true size of the category. Given the geographic nuances and varietal distinctions, wine has traditionally been difficult to track at any level of granularity. After a thorough review of the top several hundred wine producers in the market and by continually working closely with wine clients, more brand-level information became available which was not previously being captured by volume lying within the ‘others’ lines. In addition, the new tracking of varietals allowed for further focus and details across the entire category. Overall, the performance trend for still wine remains consistent even with historical revisions. 2. Other wine: Since the sangria category has growing rapidly, additional time was spent focusing on ensuring key brands were being captured. The result of this process was the discovery of Capriccio sangria, which had not been previously reported, so additional volumes needed to be applied historically. 3. Agave-based spirits: The tequila category had been revised down as more detailed information was provided for the Patrón tequila portfolio. As a result, certain brand lines required the historical removal of volumes. While a portion of the volumes were removed, the historical performance trend remained. 4. Mixed drinks: Increased volumes were a result of additional coverage of this category and also based on the rapid growth of core brands and largescale innovation across all segments. Emphasis was placed on capturing volumes for the leading company portfolios as well as competitive brands. The addition of Truly Hard Seltzer also added significant volumes as this was not previously captured. Additional coverage of emerging brands in the wellness or functional alcoholic beverage category was also a priority. 5. No-/low-alcohol beer: Revisions to the non-alcoholic beer category were necessary as additional volumes were captured from smaller producers. The low-alcohol beer category came into existence in 2016, yet 2018 was the first year the IWSR assigned volumes to this new category, so additional volumes have been reported from the category’s inception to date.

31 6. Cider: The cider category was revised after the addition of volumes from smaller producers and suppliers. Knowing growth in the cider category has been coming from smaller local ‘craft’ producers, extra time was dedicated to reporting on volumes for as many cider brands active in the US market.
