Renovations will include safety and building upgrades such as new secure doors and camera monitoring systems to create a more calming and safer care experience for patients and care providers. This is thanks to the generosity of community leaders at Mackenzie Health Foundation’s A Time of Change Gala who answered the call and invested the $120,000 needed to fund the project. The 30th annual fundraising event hosted more than 1,100 business, clinical and community leaders from the GTA who together also contributed $1.1 million towards our Exceptional Care Belongs Here campaign.

A Story of Determination and Strength

This past year was no exception: more than $576,000 was raised as part of a $2-million appeal to purchase two new CT scanners at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
