The first inductions were in July 1979 and there are currently 199 inductees in the Hall of Fame in four categories: pro-player, Record Book coach-manager (high school, college, pro), contributor and veteran.

The Hall of Fame is open Thursday though Sunday from 11am to 3pm during the school year, mid-August to mid-May. Summer hours: mid-May to mid-August the hall is open Monday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm. Closed legal holidays.
