    RESULTS FROM THE 34TH ANNUAL WILLMAR CAR CLUB CAR SHOW & SWAP MEET — MAY 18, 2014 WILLMAR — Best of Show awards were presented in the custom class and in the stock class during the thirty- fourth annual Willmar Car Club Car Show and Swap Meet held on May 18 at Kennedy Elementary School in Willmar. A huge thank you is extended to all who displayed vehicles. Roger and Gwen Barber of Marshall won the Best of Show award in the custom class with a 1958 Ford Fairlane 2 door hardtop. Jim Stodolka of Avon won the Best of Show award in the stock class with a 1957 Dodge D-100 Sweptside pickup. People’s Choice award in custom class went to Ted & Rose Grimm of Waconia for their 1934 Ford 2 door sedan. People’s Choice award in stock class went to Joel Nystrom of Buffalo for his 1929 Duesenberg J Murphy convertible coupe. The Club Participation award went to the Cold Spring Street Machines club from Cold Spring which had 8 vehicles entered. The Oldest Vehicle award went to Brian Peterka of Grove City with a 1914 Ford Model T runabout. The Show Chairmen’s Choice went to Joel Nystrom of Buffalo for his 1929 Duesenberg J Murphy convertible coupe. The Kandi Mall Display Traveling Trophy provided by Charlie & Jan Nelson for the Kandi Mall Manager’s Choice Vehicle was presented to Russell Johnson of Atwater for his 1965 Ford Mustang GT retractable hardtop. The Traveling Trophy provided by Charlie & Jan Nelson for the Visiting Car Club Choice from the Willmar Car Club Show Display was presented to Mike Hartman of Willmar for his 1937 Ford street rod.
