A Bronx Tale
A Bronx Tale Synopsis A Bronx Tale, a new musical set in the early 1960s, is based on the autobiographical play written by Chazz Palminteri. It tells the coming-of-age story of Calogero Anello, a young boy from a working class family who finds himself caught between his loving father and a charismatic mob boss. In Act One, Calogero witnesses Sonny, the mob boss, murdering someone right in front of his house on Belmont Avenue; Calogero covers for Sonny when questioned by the NYPD. Calogero’s father, Lorenzo, who is an MTA bus driver, wants to instill a strong sense of right and wrong in his son, but Calogero goes against his father’s wishes. After Sonny is released by the police with no charges against him, he takes Calogero under his wing and helps him get involved with the “glamorous” world of organized crime. Sometime later, Calogero is all grown up and a full prodigy of Sonny, but his father has no idea he has continued to see Sonny. Calogero has also developed a group of Italian- American friends that Sonny thinks is a bad influence over him and encourages Calogero to stick to his schoolwork. Calogero meets an African-American girl, Jane, on Webster Avenue which is a very different side of the Bronx than where Calogero lives. He asks his father for advice on what he should do when he and Jane go on a date. Calogero’s father doesn’t exactly approve of him going out with Jane because he is concerned for his son’s safety, considering the high racial tensions on the time period, but Lorenzo still gives him advice. -

Frozen2 Report – Full
Frozen2 Report – full Frozen 2 - FEDBP Report https://www.INCPU.org/Frozen2.htm https://www.INCPU.org/Frozen2.pdf Greetings servants of Christ and friends, (December 2019) In case you hadn’t heard, the sequel to the very popular demonic-disney film “Frozen” is in theaters across the US and around the globe (I’m sure)… and about to get replaced by the mystic 9th episode of star-sorcery, Star Wars 9, the Rise of Skywalker (also a demonic/Jesuit disney film). Frozen 2 came to theaters just before Thanksgiving – it even gave a brief visual reference of celebrating thankfulness, implying that it’s in theaters on a certain schedule (more on the later). So, what we intend to do here is first write out the script/outline (as we usually do), then some analysis, and along the way quotes, references, explanations and huge concerns – and in this case, even false prophecies to confuse the next generations of little ones. First off, the story plotline. --***~***-- >>>If you didn’t read our Frozen 1 report and would like to, you can find it here: <<< Disney's Frozen report (Updated Dec. 2019) A Tale of Bitterness, Witchcraft and Lust (Outline and notes for Frozen 1 film) https://www.incpu.org/Frozen1-report-Pt1.htm https://www.incpu.org/Frozen1-report-Pt1.pdf --***~***-- Frozen 2 Plotline – meaning: lots of spoilers for explanation purposes The setting is again set in Arendelle, with the familiar characters of Elsa (queen), Anna (her sister & princess), Kristoff (Anna’s boyfriend), and Sven (Kristoff’s reindeer), as well as the sometimes creepy/sometimes cute living, walking, and talking (sometimes too much) snowman - Olaf. -

An Investigation of Novice Middle and High School Band Directors’ Knowledge of Techniques and Pedagogy Specific to the Horn
AN INVESTIGATION OF NOVICE MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL BAND DIRECTORS’ KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNIQUES AND PEDAGOGY SPECIFIC TO THE HORN Jennifer B. Daigle A Thesis Submitted to the Graduate College of Bowling Green State University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of MASTER OF MUSIC August 2006 Committee: Carol Hayward, Co-advisor Andrew Pelletier, Co-advisor Vincent J. Kantorski Charles Saenz © 2006 Jennifer B. Daigle All Rights Reserved iii ABSTRACT Carol Hayward, Advisor The purpose of this study was to determine novice middle school and high school band directors’ knowledge of techniques and pedagogy specific to the horn. Ten band directors currently teaching middle or high school band and who were in their first through fourth year of teaching were interviewed. Questions were derived from current brass methods textbooks and placed in one of the following six categories: (a) collegiate background; (b) teaching background; (c) embouchure, posture and right hand placement; (d) construction of single and double horns; (e) muted, stopped and miscellaneous horn pedagogy; (f) care and maintenance. Findings from this study indicate that novice middle and high school band directors have varying amounts of knowledge and expertise of the horn and, in general, are lacking fundamental knowledge of specific horn techniques. In addition, it appears that directors have more knowledge and understanding of concepts relating to the horn that are common to all brass instruments as opposed to concepts associated specifically with the horn. iv This thesis is dedicated to everyone who has helped inspire and motivate me to make music more than a hobby. I would like to thank family and friends for all their patience and encouragement throughout this process.
