STUDENT COUNCIL (STUCO)/STUDENT OFFICES Student Council is the student governing body composed of officers elected by the student body, four officers elected by each class and a representative elected by each ELO. The purpose of STUCO shall be to facilitate the educational process at South High, to interpret administrative policy and to stimulate and establish understanding, cooperation, and unity, between faculty, administration, students and staff. It operates under constitution and by-laws in making recommendations on policy affecting students. Many worthwhile projects are undertaken and financed by STUCO. The membership of STUCO will be all students, administrators, and staff of South High. Students of any class attending South High during election period and attending the next year are eligible to run for any office other than president.
