2020-09-01 MIC Minutes Market Interface Committee Meeting Minutes September 1, 2020 Webinar 1. Welcome, Call to Order, Introductions Robert Follini, Market Interface Committee (MIC) Chair, called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m. on September 1, 2020. A quorum was present to conduct business. A list of attendees is attached as Exhibit A. Mr. Follini asked attendees to introduce themselves. 2. Review WECC Antitrust Policy Layne Brown, Reliability and Marketing Interface Consultant, read aloud the WECC Antitrust Policy statement. The meeting agenda included a link to the posted policy. 3. Approve Agenda Mr. Follini introduced the proposed meeting agenda. On a motion by Charles Faust, the MIC approved the agenda. 4. EIM DAMS Market Paper Mr. Follini presented on the Energy Interchange Market (EIM) Day Ahead Market Services (DAMS) market and the benefits found in the paper. Mr. Follini presented on the potential risks and recommendations for WECC regarding the paper. Alaine Ginocchio, Western Interstate Energy Board, presented on the EIM DAMS paper and the additional footnote added. By consensus, the MIC approved the EIM DAMS Market Paper. The presentation is posted to the WECC website. The EIM DAMS paper is posted to the WECC website. 5. Public Comment No comments were received. 6. Review of New Action Items There were no new action items created during this meeting. 7.
