Pdf Book Report on Stormbreaker by Kellyann Book Report Stormbreaker Kellyann Walsh 5/11/19 Introduction 1. Stormbreaker 2. Anthony Horowitz 3. The illustrators are two sisters called Yuzuru and Kanako. 4. It is fiction. 5. I chose this book because the cover looked good and it was in our book list in Kindle. 1 The Setting The story starts with the main character Alex Rider, a 14 year old boy who lives in Chelsea in England. Alex travelled to Sayle Enterprises in Port Tallon, Cornwall, England to spy on a millionaire and computer manufacturer Herod Sayle. Sayle is making a computer called the Stormbreaker. MI6 think it's very suspicious so they send Alex to investigate. Alex spent a week in Sayle Enterprises spying. He went to a nearby village called Port Tallon. Then he went to a library to find out more about his uncle who used to work as a security guard there and was also an MI6 spy. At the end of the story we move back to London where the Prime Minister would press the button to turn on all the stormbreakers for every school in England. Can he do it? 2 The Characters One of the main characters is Alex Rider. He is a 14 year old boy living in England. His mother and father died when he was very little so he was raised by his uncle Ian Rider and his housekeeper Jack Alex’s uncle, Ian Rider, was a spy for MI6 and got shot at the start of the book by rich and deadly man called Yassen Gotgoravinch who works for a nasty group of people. Mr Sayle is a rich man who is giving a new computer called ‘stormbreaker’ to every school in England but little does everyone know that he is trying to kill all the school children to get revenge on the Prime Minister because he bullied him at school. MI6 is a secret spy group where Ian Rider used to work. Ian Rider was shot by Yassen so at the end of the story Alex says that he will kill him one day!!!!!! 3 Plot Beginning: At the start of the story Alex rider is informed that his uncle Ian Rider has been killed in a car crash. Alex is very suspicious about it and goes to investigate. At his uncle's funeral Alex sees a man who worked with Ian in the bank. Alex notices he has a gun in his inside pocket, and wonders why. Alex finds out that his uncle works for a secret spy group called MI6, not a bank. While Alex was trying to find out what had happened to his uncle he goes to what he thinks is Royle and General bank but is in fact MI6 headquarters. It turns out that while Ian Rider was spying he got shot by an evil man called Yassen Gregorovich. Mrs. Jones, one of the workers, orders Alex to go and take his uncle's place. His mission was to go undercover as a boy who won a competition to go to a place called Sayle Enterprise where a very rich man called Herrod Sayle lived. Mr Sayle was planning to give a new fun computer for learning to every school in the UK. MI6 found this very suspicious, especially when Ian Rider had been killed. Three weeks before Alex was to leave he went to a training camp to get prepared for his first spy mission. Middle: While Alex was in Sayle Enterprise he went around the huge mansion trying to find out what he could. Alex found a few notes written by his uncle. These clues and Alex's good spying helped him find out what was really going on. Ending: At the end of the story Alex has to travel to London to save the day. Can he do it? 4 Conclusion I would definitely recommend this book as it is both very exciting and full of surprises. It will always leave you wondering what happens next after every chapter. Great book 10/10 I can't wait to read the next book ‘Point Blank’. 5 .

When Mr. Blunt went into his limo one of his guard’s jackets fell and there was a gun in his inside pocket. Then the guard fixed his jacket and went into the limousine and drove off. The next day Alex went to school but he kept thinking about his uncle. Alex went to a scrap yard to look for his uncle’s car. When he found it he looked inside and saw blood on the driver seat and bullet shells. He was shocked to see what had happened. The next day Alex was invited to his uncle’s bank. 2 When he arrived Mr. Blunt was waiting for him. He brought Alex into his office. The office next door belonged to Ian Rider. When they went in to the office he gave Alex cola and talked about Ian Rider.

He was bullied at school for being American!? This book about a boy Alex Rider. I did find the layouts a bit confusing from time to time, specifically some of the speech ballon placement. You are reserving this item at Harry Hartog Bondi Junction. Alex is detected, and nearly escapes but is eventually caught by Mr. Furthermore, the first few pages indicate that there is more to his guardian, Uncle Ian, than Alex is aware of. After his guardian dies in suspicious circumstances, fourteen- year-old Alex Rider finds his world turned upside down. Retrieved 11 July As such, teachers need to create tasks that help students discover the simultaneous power of words and illustrations — as well as the power of images to express what words might fail to do, through the creative use of visual clues such as colour, angle, facial expressions, etc. I am so disappointed in this book and I just don't know where to start Alex Rider lives with his banker uncle in London.
