P., M.Sc DEPARTMENT OF NAVAL ARCHITECTURE & SHIPBUILDING ENGINEERING Faculty of Marine Technology Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Surabaya 2014 ii iii ANALISIS TEKNIS DAN EKONOMIS PENGEMBANGAN GALANGAN REPAIR KAPAL KHUSUS LNG SHIP Nama Mahasiswa : Muhammad Fatchi Alfadjri NRP : 4108 100 086 Jurusan / Fakultas : Teknik Perkapalan / Teknologi Kelautan Dosen Pembimbing : Ir. Kata Kunci : Galangan, Reparasi, Kapal LNG, Aspek Pasar, Aspek Teknis, Aspek Ekonomis, Investasi, BEP (Break Even Point). vii TECHNICAL AND ECONOMICAL ANALYSIS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF REPAIR SHIPYARD SPECIFICALLY FOR LNG SHIP Author : Muhammad Fatchi Alfadjri ID No. : 4108 100 086 Dept. / Faculty : Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding Engineering / Marine Technology Supervisor : Ir. Triwilaswandio W. P., M.Sc ABSTRACT The main objective of this final project is to analyze technical and economical aspect of the development of shipyard to repair and maintain LNG ship. Firstly, the potential market of highly potential value of LNG ship repair work was analysed. Secondly, the technical aspects required in order to fulfill the requirement of the selected potential market was evaluated. Thirdly, the analysis of economical aspect was then undergone. Based on the result of market analysis, the appropriate LNG ship capacity repair market shall be in the area of LNG carrier with size of about 150,000 CuM. A 150,000 CuM LNG carrier is categorised as a large ship. In order to meet the safety requirement, a 150,000 CuM LNG carrier capacity of graving dock was proposed to be built in this repair shipyard. In the same time, some facilities need to be built such as workshops specifically for the needs of LNG ship, steel stock facility, office building, and other workshops, and also doing calculations with some tools and machines on workshops that will be used. The total investment cost is estimated about Rp 604 Billion that can be returned within 16 years. They are essential number of ecosystem function; however, this valuable ecosystem is threatened by both anthropogenic and global climatic factors. This study is aimed at investigating the vulnerability of mangroves resulting from the rise in sea level. Remote sensing, GIS and soil analysis were used to achieve this assessment. Four main research questions including the change in mangrove area over time, the endangered area by sea level rise, the potentially expected migration area and the management strategies were answered. Thus the first objective of identifying potentially endangered mangrove areas by sea level rise in Qatar and second objective of enhancing the mangrove protection and resilience to sea level rise were achieved.
