Then the tour will proceed to Bolgheri a

little medieval village known as the small Bordeaux of Tuscany, also known all over the world for having help create the term "Supertuscan wine" and where “Sassicaia” wine is produced. lt is reached through a 5 km long road coasted by cypress trees that connects the hills to the sea, made famous by the local poet Giosuè Carducci who was

the first Italian to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1906.

Our tour today will end with the visit of the Gulf of Baratti and Populonia, one of the twelve cities of the Etruscan Dodecapoli,

the only one next to the sea, for amazing view of Tuscan Archipelago and the Etruscan Coast but also a particular location for a wedding ceremony!

Day 2: May 9th

After breakfast we leave the hotel direction of Campiglia Marittima.

CAMPIGLIA MARITTIMA: a guided tour will give you an opportunity to discover this unexpected stone village, nestled on a hill that overlooks the sea and the surrounding countryside. Its streets, cobblestone alleys and buildings, arranged in

concentric semi-circles, lend a feeling of total harmony. The historical center is enclosed entirely within the town walls.

Then you will visit two special wedding locations:

Relais Castello di Magona Relais Il Chiostro (Campiglia Marittima) (Suvereto)

At the end of the morning tour you will enjoy a typical lunch in the medieval Hamlet of Suvereto.

SUVERETO

A pleasant stroll to discover this small village which has origins dating back to

the year 1000. The Hamlet of Suvereto recipient of a Touring Club orange Flag is enclosed within the old city walls and hides a charming town with an imposing fortress, paved streets, historic palazzi, the Church of San Giusto and the Cloister of San Francesco.

Return at Relais Poggio ai Santi and time to relax before to end these 2 days tour at Calidario Terme Etrusche in Venturina Terme.
