Sir, I am directed to refer to the letters cited wherein the State Government was requested to submit compliance reports in respect of the proposals which have been approved (in-principle' by the Government of India under the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980. The compliance reports have not been received for more than eighteen to five years and in spite of reminders. Now in terms of the provisions under Para 4.2 (ii) of the Guidelines contained in the "Handbook of FCA, 1980, Forest (Conservation) Rules, 2003 and Guidelines and Clarifications, 2004" the (in principle' approvals accorded in the following cases is revoked with immediate effect:
