WCHA ANNOUNCES ONE-GAME SUSPENSION FOR FERRIS STATE’S MAX FINNER Freshman defenseman will miss Bulldogs’ next NCAA Division I game

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – October 19, 2019 – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Men’s League office today announced a one-game suspension for Ferris State freshman defenseman Max Finner, effective for the Bulldogs’ next NCAA Division I contest.

The suspension is a result of Finner’s five-minute major penalty and game misconduct infraction for kneeing, which occurred at the 9:28 mark of the second period in Ferris State’s game of Friday, Oct. 18 at Miami. Upon review, the hit was delivered in a manner that warranted the suspension.

Ferris State’s next scheduled game is tonight, Saturday, Oct. 19, at Miami. Finner would be eligible to return for the Bulldogs’ Friday, Oct. 25 contest at home vs. Northern Michigan.
