COH is located about 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. • UNITEDHEALTH GROUP - UnitedHealthcare and Southwest Medical Associates are opening Optum’s Emotional-Support Help Line, providing access to specially trained mental health specialists to support people affected by the recent mass shooting at a concert in Las Vegas. Optum’s toll-free helpline number, 866-342-6892, will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for as long as necessary. The service is free of charge and open to anyone. The helpline offers specially trained Optum mental health specialists to help people manage their stress and anxiety so they can continue to address their everyday needs. Callers may also receive referrals to community resources to help them with specific concerns, including financial and legal matters. Along with the toll-free help line, emotional support resources and information are available online at www.liveandworkwell.com. • ALTA WELLNESS CENTER - Alta Wellness Center, a mental health and wellness agency, will be offering a free support group to the community: “Coping with Traumatic Events.” Available to locals every weekday from 7 to 8 p.m., Oct. 3 – 13, 2017, this group will offer coping tools and emotional support for anyone who may be struggling with immediate and long-term effects of trauma and loss. Bridge Counseling has continued to provide services to the Las Vegas community and is working closely with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as well as the State of Nevada and Clark County Mental Health Services. Free Trauma Process Group therapy sessions are available at 3 p.m. daily Monday- Friday to help victims and their families, as well as the victim service providers, law enforcement, and first responders in need during this difficult time. One-on-one sessions are also available for the remainder of this week at no charge for those in need. A “Therapy for Therapists” group session will also be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at 9 a.m. at the Bridge Counseling offices. This group is specifically for local therapists treating trauma survivors. LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — The Federal Bureau of Investigations is asking for anyone with videos or photos concerning the shooting to call 1-800-CALLFBI or (800) 225-5324. Find family and friends LVMPD and Clark County Coroner’s Office have set up a hotline for family or friends to report a missing loved one connected to this incident. The hotline is only to take reports of missing people. The number is (866) 535-5654. LVMPD also opened up a family reunification center at its headquarters at 400 S. Martin L. King Blvd. in Building B. Salvation Army “Salvation Army Clark County Coordinator Major Randy Kinnamon has mobilized our Southern Nevada corps officers to area hospitals to offer emotional and spiritual care. Social Services Director Phillip Hollon is also working with local first responders to determine other ways in which we can help,” said Lt. Col. Kelly Pontsler, Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army’s Southwest Division. We ask that everyone please pray for the families and friends of those who have lost their lives or were injured, as well as the first responders and Salvation Army officers and employees who are serving and ministering to the community.” The Salvation Army has officers on site providing emotional and spiritual support at the two hospitals where the vast majority of victims are being treated: UMC Hospital (which is currently on lockdown) and Sunrise Hospital. There are also Salvation Army officers at Spring Valley Hospital and St. Rose Hospital, where other victims are being treated. Major Kinnamon reports that there is a tremendous need for life-saving blood donations, and people are encouraged to give at the Labor Health & Welfare Clinic, at 7135 W. Sahara, or any United Blood Services location: unitedbloodservices.org/lv. The Salvation Army has dispatched a mobile canteen to the United Blood Services location at 6930 W. Charleston Blvd. to provide food and hydration for those waiting in long lines to donate. Mobile canteens are also being considered at other strategic locations in the city. Needs are also being evaluated at the Thomas and Mack Center, which has been opened up as a shelter. Zappos Family Assistance Center & Family Reunification Center The Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner has opened a family assistance center for family members of victims of Sunday night’s shooting on the Las Vegas Strip to gather and provide information to assist with identification of loved ones who may have died in the incident. 6

Miracle Flights for families Las Vegas-based medical flight charity Miracle Flights will provide free commercial airline flights to families of those lost or injured in Sunday's shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Plane tickets will be provided at no cost to the victim's families from anywhere in the country to Las Vegas. • Port of Subs is offering free meals and food to first responders through Sunday, Oct. 8, at their 39 locations in Southern Nevada. They are also driving around town delivering food to hospitals — including Spring Valley, UMC, and Sunrise — and bringing free food to those who are donating at any of the United Blood Services locations on Monday. • The El Cortez is also offering a free meal at Siegel's 1941 to all first responders and hospital workers in wake of Sunday’s tragedy. United Citizens Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to address behavioral health and substance abuse in Southern Nevada.
