This part of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (EW) is in the state of Madhya Pradesh starting from Rajasthan - Madhya Pradesh state border road from Dhabla village in Mandsaur district to Kandarwasa village in Raltam district from CH:0+000 to 150+000. The length of the proposed alignment is 150 km approx. The land use pattern on 10 km either side of the project road is predominately agriculture followed by habitation and forest. The major settlements along the alignment are Bhanpura and Garoth towns. The project will basically cross through agricultural, waste and forest land, as per survey and secondary data study, the alignment does not pass through any wild life sanctuaries. The following Wildlife Sanctuaries are falling within 15 km radius from the proposed road alignment. The aerial distance between the Wildlife Sanctuaries and proposed road alignment are as follow:- (i) Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary - The proposed road alignment is approx. 6.0 km from the boundary of Gandhi Sagar WLS and approx. 4.5 km from the Eco- Sensitive Zone boundary of Gandhi Sagar WLS as per MOEF&CC notification no. 2937 dated 14.12.2016. (ii) Sailana Kharmor Wildlife Sanctuary comprises of three patches in three villages (i) Shikarwadi, (ii) Sherpur and (iii) Amba - The proposed road alignment is 11.5 km, 12.5 km and 16.0 km respectively from their boundary. The draft notification for the sanctuary is published vide no. 760 dated March 29, 2016. The proposed land acquisition for the proposed alignment is approx. 1690 Ha. A total number of 109 structures will be affected due to proposed road. The NHAI shall compensate the affected title holder as per NHAI Act 1956. The proposed RoW of the project is100m. The proposed road will have 3 nos. of major bridge, 1 nos. of minor bridge, 13 nos. of bridges over minor canals, 3 nos. of culverts, 1 nos. of ROBs, 1 nos. of vehicular underpass, 7 nos. of LVUP, 8 nos. of SVUP, 5 nos. of intersections (grade separated interchanges), 7 nos. of toll plaza. There is provision of 10 nos. truck lay byes, 10 nos. of rest area and 770 nos. of high mast lights have been proposed at all critical points. Construction of Eight lane road from Dhabla village in Mandsaur district to Kandarwasa village in Raltam district from CH:0+000 to 150+000 in the state of Madhya Pradesh under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Lot-4/Package-5) The proposed road shall be constructed according to IRC:SP:99-2013, IRC:SP:37- 2012, IRC:SP:58-2015, IRC:112-2011 “Manual of Specifications and Standards for Expressways” design standards. Safety measures, as provided in NHAI safety manual that is unit 3 (pertaining to traffic safety, such as traffic control zone, advance warning zones, traffic control devices, regulatory and warning signs, cylindrical cones, drums, flag man, barricades, pedestrian safety, speed control etc) and other safety guide lines and measures suggested in unit 4(construction zone safety), Unit 5 (temporary structures safety), Unit 6 (workers and work zone safety), Unit 7 (electrical and mechanical safety) will be strictly implemented. All required illustrative plans for safety at construction sites keeping in view all situation highlighted in IRC:SP:55 & NHAI safety manual will be prepared and strictly implemented. About 4300 trees are likely to be affected due to proposed RoW of 100 m. Efforts will be made to minimise the trees loss by restricting trees cutting with in formation width. Avenue plantation shall be carried out as IRC:SP:21:2009 on available RoW apart from statutory requirements. The tree enumerations (inventories) of affected trees will be prepared along with forest department and detailed in EIA study. Materials requirement are Cement- 380640 Tonne, Coarse sand- 164269 Cum, Coarse Aggregate- 3318701 Cum, Fine Aggregate- 1827304 Cum, Steel- 25410 Tonne, Bitumen emulsion- 5789 Tonne, Bitumen- 99405 Tonne, Borrow Earth- 4008999 Cum, Fly Ash- 801800 Cum. (Guide), Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ABSTRACT This review was performed involving studies and documentation on the topic of Block Printing of Madhya Pradesh. The study is based on secondary data which was taken from books, journals, e-journals, e-resources, articles and Ph.D. thesis work available. Some keywords were identied to select the documentation. The next was to screen the abstract of the selected papers and exclude the rest which did not meet the selection criteria. Additionally, 9 full-text articles, 10 research papers, 3 Ph. D. and 10 books were assessed for eligibility. The SLR approach was adopted to select the related text from all available literature. Few criteria's were identied for the same and implemented using keywords. After reading and reviewing these research Papers, analysis of data was done to achieve conclusion. The objective of the literature review of block printing techniques of Madhya Pradesh, is to identify printing techniques and clusters which are more renowned and well documented, and further to identify the gap of research. There is no review paper available on this area which makes it necessary to analyse the documentation status of block printing clusters in Madhya Pradesh.
