TVA responses to public comments on the Shoreline Management Initiative (SMI) Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). In response to some comments, the text of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) has been changed. Even when a comment did not require modifying the FEIS text, TVA has provided a response to the issue raised. Comments were received from June 28, 1996, through October 15, 1996. (See Section 1.7.2 of
