UCSB Middle East Ensemble with Tom Bozigian AMAN EVENT On Saturday, July 1, AMAN held a fund raising evening. It was a very special event, with food, live music, great teachings of Armenian dances by Tom Bozigian and by Athan Karras.The AMAN women dancers performed an impressive version of the bottle dances of Hungary, in one of a kind costumes of amazing detail and beauty. And there were spectacular demonstrations of Hungarian dances by Kovacs (Istvan Szabo) and Rosina Didyk. There was also a silent auction to raise money to keep AMAN alive to do the wonderful work they do in our schools.
