The undersigned is directed to refer to his Memo. No.244/ORG dated 08.02.2017 for creation of 02 (two posts of Inspector of Police one each for Dum Dum GRPS under Sealdah GRP District and Ballyganj GRPS under Sealdah GRP District by was of surrendering two existing posts of Inspector at New Mal GRPS and New Maynaguri GRPS, both under Siliguri GPP District was under active consideration of the Government for some time past.

2. Now, the undersigned is directed to say that the Governor, after careful consideration of the matter has been pleased to accord sanction to the creation of 02 (two) posts of Inspector of Police one each for Dum Dum GRPS under Sealdah GRP District and Ballyganj GRPS under Sealdah GRP District by way of surrendering two existing posts of Inspector at New Mal GRPS and New Maynaguri GRPS both under Siliguri GPP District under on the usual rate of pay & allowances.

3. The posts may be filled up on observance of extant recruitment rules.

4. The charge is debitable to the appropriate Head of Account in the State Police Budget.

5. The order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O. No. Group-P2/2017-2018/0150 dated 23.05.2017 and has also been approved by the Cabinet in meeting held on 18.01.2018.

6. The Principal Accountant General (A&E), West Bengal is being informed.

Sub.: Proposal for upgradation of O/C (Sub-Inspector of Police)-based Police Stations (52 nos.) to IC (Inspector-in-charge)-based Police Stations under West Bengal Police.

Ref.: WBPD’s Memo. No.1046/Org dated 13.07.2017.

The undersigned is directed to refer to the above and to say that a proposal for up gradation of 52 nos of OC (Sub-Inspector of Police)-based police stations to I.C. (Inspector-in-charge)-based police stations under West Bengal Police was under active consideration of the Government for some time past.

The matter has been examined in detail in consultation with the finance department. It has been decided to accord necessary Government approval to the proposal.

The undersigned is now directed by the order of the Governor to say that the Governor is pleased to approve the proposal for up gradation of 52 (fifty two) numbers of police stations as mentioned in the statement annexed hereto from their present status of O/C (Sub-Inspector of Police)- based police stations to I.C. (Inspector-in-charge)-based police stations.

The Governor is further pleased to create 52 (fifty-two) numbers of posts of Inspector of Police in West Bengal Police and allot these posts among the said 52 (fifty-two) numbers of p(one post of Inspector in each of the Police stations mentioned in the annexure) for the purpose of necessary manning there against as per extant rules.

The charge is debitable to the appropriate Head of Account in the State Police Budget.

This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department, Government of West Bengal vide their U.O. No. Group-P2/2017-2018/1228 dated 27.03.2018. This has also been approved by the Cabinet held on 22.05.2018.

Sub.: Creation of 52 (fifty two) posts of different categories in West Bengal Police and engagement of 01 (one) part-time Karmabandhu for manning Police Station in South District.

In terms of this Department’s Notification No.1549-PL dated 23.05.2018 read with Notification No.1548-PL dated 23.05.2018 a new Police Station at Narendrapur in the district of Sosuth 24 Parganas has been created in bifurcation of the existing Sonarpur Police Station in that district.

2) Now, the undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to say that the Governor is pleased to accord sanction to the creation of 52 (fifty two) regular posts of different categories under West Bengal Police on the usual rates of pay and allowances for manning said Narendrapur Police Station, as detailed hereunder :-

3) The Governor is also pleased to allow the engagement of one (1) Karmabandhu (Part-time sweeper) at a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.2000/- (Two thousand) only for the said Police Station to be paid out of contingency.

4) The posts referred in Sl. 2 above may be filled up on observance of extant recruitment rules.

5) The charge is debitable to the appropriate Head of Account in the State Police Budget.

6) This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O. No.Gr.P2/2017-2018/0705, dated 31.10.2017 and approval of the Cabinet held on 19.12.2017.

7) The Principal Accountant General, West Bengal, is being informed.

(Pranav Kumar) DIG, Training/ Principal, SVSPA, Barrackpore. MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE ‘BOARD OF CONTROL FOR TRAINING’ HELD ON 24-05-2018. AT 15:30 HRS. AT THE OFFICE CHAMBER OF ADDL. DIRECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE, TRAINING, WEST BENGAL, ARAKSHA BHAVAN, SALT LAKE CITY, KOLKATA-91.

Shri Soumen Mitra, IPS, Addl. Director General of Police, Training, West Bengal presided over the meeting.

Following members of the ‘Board of Control for Training’ attended the meeting:-

1. Approval of the Result of the 1st Semester Examination of 06-Dy. SP(U/T) of Batch No.67/17-18.

(i) Director, SVSPA, WB, Barrackpore had sent, the Result Sheet of 1st Semester Examination of 06-Dy.SsP (U/T) of Batch No.67/17-18 vide Memo. No.SVSPA/Exam Cell/ Dy. SP(U/T) / 01 (VI)/ 2010-1091 dated 09.04.2018. 06-Dy. SsP(U/T) had joined SVSPA, Barrackpore for undergoing their Basic Training on and from 01.09.2017 in Batch No.67/17-18.

(ii) 06-Dy. SsP(U/T) have qualified in all indoor subjects in the 1st Semester examination [list enclosed].

(iii) The result of the same is placed before the ‘Board of Control for Training’ for approval.

On discussion the Board resolved the following decision:-

The Board approved the Result of 06-Dy. SsP(U/T) who have qualified in all indoor subjects in the 1st Semester examination.

2. To examine the Result Sheet of the Final Examination of Recruit Constable of Batch No.210/2017-18.

(i) DIG, Training/ Principal, SVSPA, WB, Barrackpore had sent, the Result sheet of the Final Examination of recruit Constable of Batch No.210/2017-18 vide Memo. No.SVSPA/Exam Cell/RC/11(1)/2017-1255 dated 27.04.2018. f¢ÕQjh‰ Blr¡ A¢dL¡l, ih¡e£ ihe, B¢mf¤l, LmL¡a¡ - 27

West Bengal Police Gezette 29th June, 2018 11 (ii) Out of 251-RCs & LRCs (182-RCs and 69 LRCs), 243-RCs & LRCs (175-RCs and 68 LRCs) have completely passed in the both indoor and outdoor subject. (list enclosed)

(iii) 05 (five) RCs & LRCs (04-RCs and 01 LRCs) have submitted their resignations from service which have been duly accepted by appointing authorities.

(iv) RC/3228 Mithlesh Kumar did not attend training for more than 25% of the training period and he has been batch reverted.

(v) 02 (two) Recruit Constables namely RC/3237 Nayan Kumar Mahata did not appear in all the subjects of outdoor examination, RC/3294 Saddam Alam did not qualify in indoor subject i.e. Paper-I.

(vi) The result of the same is placed before the ‘Board of Control for Training’ for approval.

On discussion the Board resolved the following decision:-

(i) The Board approved the result of 243-RCs & LRCs (175-RCs and 68 LRCs) who have completely passed in the both indoor and outdoor subject.

(ii) With regard to, RC/3228 Mithlesh Kumar. Board decided that as per training manual RC/3228 Mithlesh Kumar will be sent back to his parent unit and he could attend his basic training with the next batch. DIG, Training/ Principal, SVSPA, Barrackpore will inform the concerned unit under intimation to Police West Bengal for basic training of RC/3228 Mithlesh Kumar.

(iii) Board also resolved that 02 (two) Recruit Constables namely RC/3237 Nayan Kumar Mahata not appear in all subject of outdoor examination, RC/3294 Saddam Alam, did not qualify in indoor subject i.e. Paper-I, will be detained another 30 days training at SVSPA, Barrackpore after the date of passing out parade.

3. Approval of the Result of the 1st Supplementary Examination of detained RCs of Batch No.209/17.

(i) Director, SVSPA, WB, Barrackpore sent, the Result Sheet of 1st Supplementary Examination of detained RCs of Batch No.209/17 vide Memo. No.SVSPA/Exam Cell/RC/10(1)/2017-2012 dated02.04.18.

(ii) Out of 15-RCs & LRCs (14-RCs and 01 LRCs), 14-RCs have completely passed in their failed subject. (list enclosed)

(iii) 01 (one) Lady Recruit Constables namely i) LRC/2930 Laboni Kundu, did not qualify in Swimming.

(iv) The result of the same is placed before the ‘Board of Control for Training’ for approval.

On discussion the Board resolved the following decision:-

(i) The Board approved the result of 14-RCs who have completely passed in their examination.

(ii) Board also resolved that, 01 (one) Lady Recruit Constables namely LRC/2930 Laboni Kundu, who did not qualify in outdoor subject i.e., swimming may be returned to her parent unit and after three months she will again appear for Swimming test.

ii) The Board has approved that existing time of indoor examination for Recruit Constable is 3(three) hours, which would be reduced to 2(two) hours.

iii) The Board also approved that in all the examination of indoor subjects of RCs and Dy.SsP (U/T), equal weight age of 50% would be given to objective and subjective type question.
