A list of successful applicants is attached (List A). The successful applicants are informed that the joining instructions can be accessed and downloaded from their application accounts accessible through http://application.udom.ac.tz. The Atlantis File - 1 - © 1999 Alexander Winslow The ATLANTIS File Trite but true is the saying, "truth is stranger than fiction." So it is with the legend of Atlantis. First heard of many centuries ago through the Greek Plato, it has remained an enigma in the minds of many ever since. That is, until now. Sometimes when we discover an ancient manuscript or artifact, in or out-of- place with the period in which it is supposed to belong, we sometimes remain baffled or try to slot it into some comfortable gap which might satisfy some yet at the same time fools none. Then perhaps, years or centuries later, insight and understanding from one source or another suddenly reveals that the answer was really under our noses all the time. This has indeed become so regarding Atlantis. I have been a theocratic scholar now for over thirty-five years. During this time I have been engaged on intensive study and research into ancient Theocratic manuscripts and material, searching and examining with insight and understanding through the Holy Scriptures and other manuscripts of antiquity. Delving deeply into the fossil beds of thought. My discoveries have been both fascinating and illuminating, with the result that I have obtained knowledge which has become the 'key' to all questions concerning mankind's origin, our present existence and our future. It was during the writing of my first non-fiction book 'The Deluge - it's Cause and Effect', that I first came into contact with the subject on Atlantis.

A number of years ago Mrs. J. G. Smith published a novel entitled Seola. She claims to have been im pelted to write it after listening to beautiful music. She made no pretense of a knowledge of the Bible. Yet many of her sayings are so thoroughly in accord with the correct understanding of certain scriptures that the novel is exceedingly interesting and sometimes thrilling. The greatest Bible scholar of modem times read this book shortly before his death. To a close personal friend he said: "This book, if revised according to the facts we now know concerning spiritism, would be instructive and helpful." Long prior thereto this noted Bible scholar had written and published the first clear exposition of the Bible teaching on spiritism. He advised his personal friend to revise the novel Seola and to publish it if opportunity was afforded at some future time. This book deals with the events transpiring between the date of the creation of man and the great deluge. The principal characters figuring in the novel are Satan, fallen angels and women. Angels are heavenly mes sengers. There was a time when all angels were good. The time came when many of them allied themselves with Satan and became evil, hence called "fallen angels." Woman possesses finer sensibilitiesthan man.

Toiling along the steeps of the Anti-Libanus, on our way to Jabrada, we halted for the midday repast, and, while the guides were preparing it, I reclined in the shade of the scanty foliage. As we leisurely surveyed the sterile landscape, our attention was attracted to an object quite unex pected in this desert place, a flower of surprising beauty, which hung from a broad shelf of rock opposite. Edmund sprang forward to gather the wonderful blossom, and, upon reaching the perilous steep, to sustain himself laid hold of the root of a decayed tree which had once grown there. When it appeared that no injury was sustained, we turned to examine the spot from whence the avalanche descended.
