In Travis' own words...

God, Country, Family, Music…Passionate About all Four and Here is My Story

Looking back, my love for music began with humble intentions. In my junior year of high school, I picked up the guitar, alongside of my brother, and began to play and sing. Little did I know, a few years later, I would be struck with a passion to put my thoughts and feelings on paper. This happened over the course of one night into the first song that I ever wrote titled “Gonna Love You”. It was at that point I recognized my love for song writing... expressing my love for my high school sweetheart, who I am now honored to call my wife. Over the years, I have written many songs. A few of them are found on my 2009 album titled “Somewhere In Mississippi”, and a larger selection was released on my album titled “Ready When You Are”. Ironically, the first song I ever wrote in 2005, “Gonna Love You”, was debuted 10 years after writing it on my “Ready When You Are” album, which was released in January 2015. This album also contains original songs that my two amazing children, Ava and Knox, inspired me to write, as well as additional songs which were inspired by my friends, family members, fans and multiple life experiences. In May and June of 2015, I spent time in Nashville, TN with my producer, James Cook, recording my third album alongside of some members of Luke Bryan’s band (James Cook, Kent Slucher, and Dave Ristrim). This album will be released in November, 2015 and contains a few new songs that I have written including the title track "Home Sweet Home - which is a tribute to our soldiers and their families. We can never be thankful enough for what they do. I will also be re-releasing one song from a previous album.

The first show I played was in May of 2009, in which I opened for . From there, over the years, I have been blessed to play with outstanding artists such as Jason Aldean, , Joe Diffie, Craig Morgan, Jake Owen, and Travis Tritt. Recently, I had the opportunity to play at a large music festival on the same stage as national artists like Alabama, Kid Rock, Blackberry Smoke and Brantley Gilbert. In the spring of 2015, the people of the Pine Belt voted and I was awarded with Song of the Year for “Gonna Love You” and Live Entertainer of the Year at the FestivalSouth Red Carpet event. In addition to writing music and playing shows, I am the singer/songwriter for an outdoors reality show, Real South Hunting, which is currently airing on national TV.

The good Lord has blessed me tremendously through my friends, family, fans, talent, and the list goes on. For that, I will be forever thankful….
