RV, CABINS & CAMPING Swimming Pool, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi, FREE High Speed Wireless Internet, Game Room, Business Center, Private Showers, Two Laundromats, Shuttle Bus Service to Sturgis during the Rally and Private Parties. RESTAURANT OPEN DURING RALLY 20899 Pleasant Valley Dr., Sturgis, SD Welcome, welcome, welcome to Sturgis and the Black Hills! The hills look so lush and green from all the rain this year. Well, lots to start off with. Broken Spoke Campground – swim call – everyone in the pool! You gotta see this place. Free bike giveaway – yeah, free – on the 6th. Somebody will be taking a panhead home with them – that’s all at the Broken Spoke. Next, Buffalo Chip. Rod and Carol – you rock as you always do. Best party anywhere. They have the best entertainment in the Hills. Check out the Guide for all the entertainment schedules. If you need a ride, take a bus. See the map inside for all the stops. Cheaper than a ticket from Meade County’s finest. A must to see – the Jackpine Gypsies. This is what it is all about. These guys are crazy, but they are fun to watch. If your bike needs a little bit more horsepower – get it dyno’d – see Chris at Cycle Solutions. He has all you need for speed. Pete, at the Knuckle radio station, uses the Pocket Guide schedule of events on the air, so tune him in whenever you are in the area. Right across the street is the Side Hack Saloon. Good food, ice cold beer, and past Sturgis Beer cans are available to collect. Want to own a bar in Sturgis? Well, the Nite Owl is up for sale – a piece of history on Main Street. You want to take home an antique motorcycle, or looking for a certain part, check out the 3rd Annual Vintage Motorcycle Auction. See Sturgis Real Estate Company ad for info. A little free information for you – drink lots of fluids ‘cause you dehydrate pretty fast out here, wear light clothes – black t-shirts only look cool, and use sunblock. Make sure you check the air in your tires. And… Don’t eat Chinese in Sturgis! Go to Miss Kitty’s in Deadwood. It’s the best. Enough of that – next… Pizza Ranch delivers to all areas & campgrounds, they can also deliver beer with your order. I want to thank Thunder for my maps, Linda for her magic fingers, Jerry for putting me to- gether, Matt for putting me online, Mel and Joe for sales and Frank and Jane – the printer Gods – for getting me out on time and delivered. You’all are the best. Tell the Advertisers that you saw them in the Pocket Guide because we are advertiser sup- ported. And don’t forget - We are available online and available prior to the Rally so you can see what is happening before you leave your home to come here. You can actually plan on what you want to do during your stay. In closing - my usual speech. Don’t be draggin’ revving your pipes, cause you’ll get a ticket and free room and board. If you’ve had too much to drink, park your bike and get a taxi home. Think before you drink. Don’t leave your drinks unattended. It’s not the bartenders job to baby- sit your drinks. Take care of your bartenders and servers. They work real hard to make your vacation unforgettable. Have a safe Rally. Remember – rubber side down, shiny side up.
