this year’s keynote speaker is Apolo Anton Ohno, an American short track speed skating competitor and an eight-time medalist in the winter Olympics. he is the most decorated American winter Olympic athlete of all time. in 2002, Ohno received osteopathic manipulative treatment prior to the 1,500 meter short track race in which he won the gold medal. After Ohno suffered a gash on his leg requiring stitches during a collision in a previous race, lawrence lavine, DO, Ohno’s personal from tacoma, wash., fl ew to salt lake city to assist Us team physicians in treating him.
