Our vision is for a vibrant, efficient, clean, fun tennis facility that is open to all and searches for new ways to reach out to the community both to grow the game that we love and to serve the people of North Miami Beach. Our mission is to promote the many benefits of playing and enjoying tennis while improving the physical site at Judge Arthur I. Snider Tennis Center and reestablishing it as the leader in South Florida tennis. Our Values are: To be welcoming to players of all backgrounds, abilities and ages. Our Plans include: To invest immediately upon receivership of contract to run the facility $100,000 towards improving the pro shop, bathrooms, locker rooms, adding a new patio, security cameras and new windscreens. To bring into our Junior and Adult camps former and current ATP and WTA tennis stars. To add hours of operation and have additional employees who will maintain more regularly the upkeep of the courts and bathrooms. To add more regularly material to the clay courts to keep them in pristine tennis tournament condition. To fairly compensate the city of North Miami Beach for the use of it’s excellent tennis facility. Finally our proposal is an attempt to reinvigorate tennis in our community. We hope this proposal will be a spark that helps some young person begin a lifetime full of healthy choices, or help a senior enjoy fitness in her golden years. As the three disciplined principals of Sports Advisory Consultants Inc. we hope to lead with championship focus. We have combined our professional experience to pursue this important opportunity. We are passionate about our commitment to operating the Judge Arthur I Snyder Tennis Center. We will honor its history, if awarded the contract, and re-define it as a showplace for tennis and focal point for the community and visitors to the City of North Miami Beach. Tennis and Racquetball Lessons Tennis: Individual An experienced USPTA or USPTR Certified teaching Professional will be available to both members and non- members of all ages and skill levels. They will provide instruction ranging from basic tennis, to skills for the more advanced or competitive player including stroke analysis, tactics, mental toughness and fitness conditioning. Our staff professionals strive to make the learning experience fun for all students. Lessons Rates: $60.00- 1hour $35.00-30 minutes Tennis: Group (Clinics) Our group lessons will be available for adults and juniors at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Classes will be held weekdays, evenings and weekends. The student to instructor ratio will not exceed 6:1 per court. Students will learn the rules of the game, fundamental strokes, and stroke production drills as well as singles and doubles tactics. Adult Clinics: $75.00 for 5 – 1-hour session Men’s Doubles Teams $100.00 for 5-1 ½ hour sessions Women’s Doubles Teams $100.00 for 5-1 ½ hour sessions Racquetball: Individual and Group: We will offer racquetball lessons on an as requested basis. B. On Court Operations: General Play The Tennis Center shall be open to the public seven days a week, Including Holidays. Members can reserve courts 24 hours in advance. Court time allowed for singles will be one hour and 1 ½ hour for doubles. Players can continue play after their allotted time only if no other players are waiting. Daily Tennis Court Fees: Non-Resident $8.00 per person City of NMB Resident $6.00 per person Light Fees: $2.00 per person Members and non-members will be charged light fee during night play Leagues: We will organize Adult, Junior or Senior, USTA League teams. As one of the most important components of a successful tennis program, League tennis offers exciting competition in a social atmosphere, encouraging new membership while keeping existing members active and participating out on the courts having a good time while improving their game. Leagues will run a minimum of five weeks to a maximum of nine weeks and will be set up based on NTRP ratings. Competitive teams, consisting of a minimum of eight to fifteen players with structured rules and regulations for play, will be competing at the same skill level as their opponents in match play. League Fees: Court and light fees included in league fees $35.00 for members $45.00 for non-members Memberships: Annual memberships will be sold during winter, spring and summer months and are renewable each October 1. The benefits to membership include free use of Arthur I. Snyder 18 tennis courts (except light fees) with the ability to reserve courts 24 hours in advance. Also included with membership is discount pricing on all tennis lessons, clinics, programs and pro shop purchases, match arranging by our Tennis Staff and a complimentary 30-minute evaluation with the Director of Tennis. Single Resident Annual Membership -$250 Single Senior Resident Annual Membership - $185 Single Non-Resident Membership - $400 Single Senior Non-Resident Membership - $250 Couple Resident Annual Membership - $350 Couple Non- Resident Membership - $600 Junior Resident Membership- $120 Junior Non-Resident Membership -$190 Family Resident Membership - $400(2 adults 2 kids, extra child $50) Family Non- Resident Membership -$700(2 adults 2 kids, extra child$50) Camps: Our camps offer a rare opportunity for Adult and Junior players at all levels to have their learning experience directed by current or former Top #100 ATP/WTA professionals. Having long established relationships in the professional tennis world allows us to utilize their talents and enthusiasm for the game and to have them available to help direct our camps. These camps offer several weeklong sessions during the spring and fall with four to seven weeks of junior camps offered during the summer. There will be a minimum of three junior tennis camps during the spring, summer and fall months plus additional Holiday camps. ATP/WTA Top #100 Players pool for our camps include: five-time Grand Slam Champion Justine Henin, Andy Roddick, Mardy Fish, Olympic Silver Medalist, Anna Chakvetadze, Victoria Azarenka, Caroline Wozniacki, American standouts Sam Querrey and John Isner and the ATP World Tour No. 1 ranked doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan to name a few. Adult Camp City of NMB Tennis Center will offer a special camp program for adults who want to improve their game and at the same time enjoy themselves Our Adult camps are tailored for players who want to participate in a fast track learning experience. As a way of introducing our Adult camp program former World # 1 doubles player Rick Leach will conduct our first Adult camp. Rick, a doubles specialist, has won 46 titles including 5 Grand Slam’s (3 Australian Open, 1 Wimbledon, 1 US Open), and 4 Grand Slam mixed doubles titles (2 Australian Open, 1 Wimbledon, 1 US Open). Players enrolled in the Weekly Program will have a special discount rate with our ATP/WTA player for private instruction session. ● Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 11:30 PM ● Saturday morning: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM ● 15 hours per week tennis direction in clinics ● Personalized training/video tape evaluation (Optional) ● Stroke Production ● Mental toughness training/on and off court ● Singles and Doubles Match Play and Strategy ½ Day Tennis (Weekly) $500.00 ½ Day (Daily Tennis) $110.00 Junior Camp It is anticipated our first Junior camp will be conducted by former World #22 ATP Professional Ronald Agenor, who sustained one of the longest careers in the history of professional tennis (19 years). His wins over the world’s greatest, such as Agassi, Connors, Vilas, Wilander, Noah and Stich, to name a few earned him 3 ATP Tour Titles. Having experienced the evolution of the game during the last 3 decades he has travelled the world, experiencing many different cultures and speaks fluently in several languages. He was once Honorary Consul of Haiti in Bordeaux, France, in 1989. Ronald will offer his unique personalized attention, while providing intensive training, excellent drills and an overall fun time.
