The beauty of the simple White Wine Sangria recipe is that it is as delicious as it is easy, and it only gets better as you add your favorite fruits!

Ingredients: • 1 Bottle of white wine (Riesling, Albarino, Chablis, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc) • 2/3 cup white sugar • 3 oranges (sliced) or may substitute 1 cup of orange juice) • 1 lemon (sliced) • 1 lime (sliced) • 1/2 liter of ginger ale or club soda (ginger ale for those with a sweeter tooth!)

Preparation: Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the orange, lemon and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sugar. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving.

Addition ideas: sliced strawberries, peaches, handful of fresh blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, a shot or two of gin, brandy or rum, a cup of citrus-flavored soda pop.

Classical, jazz, rock, traditional and world music groups will generously display their talents throughout the city center. As Olivier Lambert, my liaison with F.I.M.U., states: “What is important to say about F.I.M.U., and what makes it successful, and what creates its particular mood of friendship is this: the concerts are free and musicians come just to share their music (as there is no fee). The audience knows that, and is very grateful with groups. There is no commercial relation between musicians and audience. It creates a close relationship between both. What’s more, audiences can meet these musicians, and talk to them very easily. It’s a cultural experience, too, as audiences can discover music they didn’t hear before - music from everywhere in the world. For many people who come, it’s their lone outing in the year.” This principle makes for a festive atmosphere; and the student and volunteer dimensions make F.I.M.U. a special event. Invitees are mostly made up of music students and amateurs. In the French meaning of the word, an amateur is one who does something for the sheer love of it. No lack of professionalism here - only world- class talent. Herein lies a clue to the success of a small idea, which has grown well into adulthood, soon to celebrate its Silver

When Jamie heard Laura’s talent and abilities it moved her to reach out to Laura and offer her the chance to come to Nashville to have Jamie’s husband produce a few singles with Laura as the star. Now as a country radio personality I can tell you personally that Laura has the natural voice and look to become the next big Country act that she has always dreamed of. She is an amazing young talent and the quality of the singles that Jamie O’Neal has put together for her is outstanding ! But if the question, “Then why didn’t she win Nashville Star?” is bouncing around in your mind remember this. American Idol tossed away current Nashville Stars Josh Gracin, Bucky Covington, and even Kellie Pickler (who has a top 20 single on the charts right now). Plus Jamie O’Neal is currently pushing Laura to the major labels to help Laura achieve her dreams. So before you just toss away my and Jamie’s endorsement of Laura Fedor make sure to tune into 98.3 The BULL to hear her single, “Place In The Sun”.
