Domark Back in the Octagon with Musclefoot.Com on FX TV As UFC 152 Sponsor September 19, 2012 DoMark Back in the Octagon With MuscleFoot.com on FX TV as UFC 152 Sponsor LONGWOOD, FLORIDA -- (MARKETWIRE) -- 09/19/12 -- DoMark International Inc. (OTCBB:DOMK) (the "Company" or "DoMark"), through its wholly owned subsidiary, MuscleFoot Inc., is pleased to announce that it has added fighters Evan Dunham and Igor Pokrajac of the UFC to its sponsorship initiative. MuscleFoot markets the revolutionary Barefoot Science insoles that improve athletic performance and provide elite athletes with a winning edge. To act as exclusive agent for future UFC and MMA related projects and sponsorships, DoMark has retained FY Productions until March 31, 2013. UFC 152 will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario with a light heavyweight main event between Jon Jones and Vitor Belfort. The night's four-fight main card airs on Pay-Per-View in the US and Canada, with the preliminary card bouts airing live on FX TV in the US and SPORTSNET in Canada at 8PM Eastern. The official weigh in will be broadcast live on FUEL TV in the US and SPORTSNET in Canada at 4:00 PM EST on Friday, September 21. MuscleFoot showcased its revolutionary Barefoot Science technology by signing Nick Symmonds and Will Claye of the 2012 US Olympic track and field team to endorsement contracts earlier this summer. Later in August, MuscleFoot supported Damarques Johnson at UFC on Fox. And now MuscleFoot is back supporting two more UFC fighters. MuscleFoot brings hardcore performance enhancement technology through Barefoot Science and the UFC is the perfect arena in which to see it. Evan Dunham was originally scheduled to fight T.J. Grant on the main card at UFC 151 until the UFC made the decision to cancel its first event in history under the Zuffa, LLC brand. As a result, Dunham has been bumped down to the preliminary card in UFC 152. Dunham, 13-2-0, is riding a 2-fight win streak as he prepares to face TJ Grant, 18-5-0, on Saturday, September 22. Dunham made his UFC debut on February 21, 2009 against Per Eklund at UFC 95. He showed his aggressive style, knocking the more experienced Eklund out with a straight left at 2:14 of round 1. In his second fight, he defeated returning veteran Marcus Aurélio at UFC 102. Dunham showed quick and accurate striking skills and displayed some excellent submission defense against the seasoned grappler, winning via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27). Dunham's third fight was against The Ultimate Fighter 8 winner, Efrain Escudero on January 11, 2010 at UFC Fight Night 20 with the fight being the co-main event. Dunham rallied from a rough first round, taking the second and finally finishing with an armbar in the third round, nearly breaking Escudero's arm. The submission earned him an extra $30,000 for winning Submission of the Night honors. For more statistical information on Evan Dunham please visit: http://www.ufc.com/fighter/Evan-Dunham, and he can also be followed via twitter: @evandunham155. On the same card, 25-8-0 Igor Pokrajac is also set to battle 2nd degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blackbelt Vinny Magalhaes, 10-5-0 1NC. Igor Pokrajac (born January 2, 1979) is a Croatian mixed martial artist currently signed with the UFC fighting in their light heavyweight division. Pokrajac holds notable victories over Krzysztof Soszynski and James Irvin. Pokrajac started his professional MMA career in 2003, primarily competing in his native Croatia. Over the next six years, he compiled an impressive record of 21 wins and 5 losses and is riding high on a 3-fight win streak since his match against Stephan Bonnar at The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale. His latest win came against Fabio Maldonado at UFC On Fuel 3. • Customer Acquisition Strategies and Tactics
CHAPTER 5 Customer Acquisition Strategies and Tactics anaging customer acquisition consists of a variety of interrelated tasks and activities. Among the more important are pricing programs, advertising, alternative and direct marketing M systems, sales promotions, and personal selling methods. Based on the solid foundation of developing a customer-oriented company, customer acquisition creates the lifeline of sales and return visits vital to a company’s long-term success. The product life cycle model remains an important tool for understanding how to acquire customers. The introduction, growth, maturity, and decline stages of the cycle necessitate careful responses and strategies from the marketing team. Customer acquisition provides a key response to the challenges of competition, especially in the maturity stage of the product life cycle. At every point, companies face the demands of keeping current customers balanced with using tactics to find new customers. In general, three basic forms of customer acquisition are 1. developing existing or new markets, 2. developing existing or new products, and 3. branding programs. y Identifying Markets Customers are acquired through the analysis of existing markets and new markets. New customers can be located in existing markets. Some may be found through the efforts to increase brand switch- ing. Others can be identified when new needs arise as situations change, such as when television programming shifted from analog to digital signals. Further, a product may be featured as being different and better, which is the product differentiation approach to attracting new customers in existing markets. 99 100 CASES IN MARKETING MANAGEMENT Finding new markets, the second approach to identifying markets, consists of geographic expansion into domestic markets and international markets.
