The County Council (B1052 Little Walden Road, Audley End Road, Littlebury/) (30MPH & 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: 1. To introduce a 30MPH speed limit on the following length of Audley End Road (including Spring Hill) in the Parishes of Littlebury / Saffron Walden, both in the District of , from a point approximately 45 metres east of its junction with B1383 Road, eastwards for a distance of approximately 475 metres to the proposed 40mph limit terminal signs (the road is currently 40MPH). 2. To introduce a 40MPH speed limit on the following length of Audley End Road in the Parish of Saffron Walden, in the District of Uttlesford, from a point, approximately 520 metres east of its junction with B1383 London Road, eastwards for a distance of approximately 578 metres to existing 30MPH speed limit terminal signs located west of Wenden Road (the road is currently national speed limit).

'The Essex County Council (Uttlesford) (B1052 Little Walden Road, Saffron Walden) (30MPH & 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2020’ is hereby revoked. The restrictions will remain in force by virtue of this order.
