Michael Weller’s Moonchildren, directed by Travis Donnelly, turns the clocks back about fifty years to explore the social and cultural aspects that arose from the war, protest and free love of the 1960s. The play premiered Friday at Cal State Fullerton’s Hallberg Theatre. Despite the numerous historical events that take place during the decade, the play instead examines the lives of seven college roommates and their journey from adoles- cence to adulthood.
