EXPERIENCE: Student Minister, Calvary Church, Jupiter, FL (June 2016 - Feb 2019, 1500 people) At Calvary, my primary role was as Student Minister. However, I was also blessed to serve as a worship leader and support for production. Through May of 2018, my responsibilities included assisting the worship department through song & chart arrangement, stage & equipment management, Planning Center Online (PCO), song selection, part track recording in X, vocal arranging, Mainstage patching, management of the Playback App by Multitracks, leading rehearsals, and leading on Sunday mornings in the main auditorium on a regular basis, especially from May 2017 - May 2018 when we were without a Worship Pastor. I worked with our Production Director as well to raise the production level of the Student worship service. We accomplished this through including QLab, Vista, ProPresenter, Playback, and re-mapping the student scene on our Behringer X32 sound board. As Student Minister, our team had the privilege of helping students grow through teaching, small groups, worship, production, and event organization. The youth group had multiple points of growth and decline; God blessed our youth program as we doubled in size from 40 to 80 regular attenders during my tenure. I was also responsible for budget management, vision casting, volunteer recruitment/training and for revamping the student worship and production team. In that capacity, God blessed our efforts as we grew from 10 to a strong group of 20 student worship members with more scheduled to audition in the spring to serve in worship and production positions. Worship Ministry Intern, Meadowbrook College/Church, Ocala, FL (2014-2016, 6,000-10,000 people) At Meadowbrook College, I was provided an array of opportunities to apply the principles I was learning in the to real-life ministry under the direction of the staff of Meadowbrook Church. Some responsibilities included: music theory, PCO, , assist in coordinating events including a conference for Paul Baloche, participate in Meadowbrook Christmas Live (a professional production of Meadowbrook Church), lead worship in weekly chapels, plan worship set lists, organize and lead band members, and play/lead worship for youth groups Fuse and Fuse JV. EXPERIENCE (continued): Worship and Production Director, Calvary Chapel Villages, The Villages, FL (2014-2015, 70 people) While at Calvary Chapel Villages, the worship team grew from 2 to 8 people, we transitioned from PowerPoint to ProPresenter, utilized PCO, and found a sound engineer to balance the sound system. Some responsibilities included: lead worship on Sunday mornings, build the worship team, plan set lists, schedule and lead band members, manage the church song bank, and oversee general production and vision casting for the worship team. Worship and Student Ministry Intern, The Rock Community Church, Lakeland, FL (2013-2014, 500 people) At The Rock, I served as an intern with responsibilities in leading worship and volunteering in the youth group. I regularly played and sang on Sunday mornings in the main sanctuary, often leading songs and teaching/ assigning vocal parts during rehearsals. In the youth group, I led small groups, helped direct the youth band, and ran the production booth on Wednesday nights, as well as serving as a summer camp leader. Facilities Worker, Meadowbrook Church, Ocala, FL (2015-2016, 6,000-10,000 people) As a facilities worker, I have been able to be a part of the inner workings behind events, services, and day-to-day church business. I helped coordinate an event for Paul Baloche that included a concert and a full- day conference as well as a conference for Orange Tour. Some responsibilities included: setup, tear down, and coordination of all events, maintain cleanliness of building, and perform routine upkeep and maintenance throughout the church building as well as the K-12 academy. Youth Worship Band Leader, Calvary Chapel Plantation, Plantation, FL (2011-2012 1,000-2,000 people) As a senior in high school, I had the privilege of coordinating and leading the youth worship team through scheduling on PCO, weekly rehearsals, and leading on Sunday mornings for Six78 and Liquid—the youth ministry at Calvary Chapel Plantation—as well as attend several workshops at Ocean’s Edge School of Worship specifically designed to train new worship leaders.
