Long Island Native Reek Da Villian, a artist with a dynamic delivery and a modern flow continues to amaze the masses. After releasing his song Mechanics which featured and , he then returned with the “Mechanics ” which featured artist such as , Cam'ron, , and DJ Khaled joining Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz and the song did 6 million views in one day on World Star Hip Hop. Reek Da Villian then went to appear on MTV RapFix Live, MTV2 Sucker Free Exclusives talking about the sound and his connection with Busta Rhymes. In October 2010, he was among one of the few emerging hip hop artist to perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards flowing in the Hip Hop Cypher, where he once again proved to the world that he would be hip hops next icon. McQueen Media [email protected] • www.trioent.com Client Biography Reek Da Villian In the history of Hip Hop, there has been many Hip Hop Kings who has been known to lyrically make their mark such as , , , , Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, and the list goes on, in the new age and new era, hip hop will crown a new king by the name of Reek Da Villian who will be known to lyrically conquer the world.

Tariek Williams, better known as Reek Da Villian, a native of Long Island New York, has been driven by music since the very tender age of seven. A classroom note to a young girl influenced the young start in hip hop as he took a line from one of his favorite rappers during time and the line help him score a date with a girl.

Growing up in a musically inclined family Reek Da Villian was also influenced by cousins and uncles who surrounded him enhancing his talent knowing he would become a young star. Reek first started recording music at 15 years of age in his cousin's studio in Freeport, New York. His first song ever recorded was called "Bodies On The Tongue" where he talks about verbally murdering MC’s. After proving his skills to his older cousin Ike T & Belly Val (of I.G.T.) who had a record deal under Steve Rifkind’s Loud Records in 1999, they chose to make Reek an understudy of the group. Reek stated, “I remember being in I.G.T.’s first studio session at the legendary Chung King Studio in , New York, I free-styled for A&R’s Scott Free, Matty C and Shawn C currently of Grind Music Productions. After for them for hours, they all fell in love with my flow and spoke of signing me.” Due to bad management the deal never went through.

In 2002, Reek founded C.O.E. (Cash Out Entertainment) with Brian Gilmore and Ike T. In 2003, he was incarcerated for possession of a loaded firearm, where he spent the next year in Nassau County Correctional Facility (NCCF).

After serving his year, Tariek Williams was released in 2004 where he got back in the studio. He recorded for the next two years until he ran into his big break in 2006, where he met rapper Busta Rhymes at a mixtape/clothing store called Central Station in Uniondale, New York (Now Baldwin, New York). Reek explained, “I had just came back from Ave and I stopped at Central Station to get a T-shirt. I seen Belly Val of I.G.T. talking to Busta and he called me over to rap for him. After rhyming for 5 Minutes straight, Busta stop me from rhyming and asked for my number. Two days later he called me and told me that I was Flipmode if anybody asked me, and it been on ever since.”

McQueen Media [email protected] • www.trioent.com Reek continued to release a series of mixtapes, but his first big look was in March 2008 on the official remix of Busta Rhymes’ “Don’t Touch Me (Throw da Water on ‘em)” Soon after he appeared on BET’s Rap City with , Busta Rhymes, Tre Beatz and DJ Sratchator. Then a week later, he made an appearance on 106 & Park to perform with Flipmode Squad. Reek affirmed, “Coming out to perform in front of all those fans, and to have the ladies react the way they did was overwhelming. Furthermore, it put a stamp on my stardom and showed just how far I’ve come. Now my dreams are reality so look forward to hearing a whole lot of Reek da Villian in the near future.”

In 2009 due to differences of opinion Reek left Flipmode Squad but returned in 2010 and was ready to be apart of Conglomerate Records as the record label is now known. In October of 2010 Reek Da Villian released the “Mechanics” record which featured Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz, and then he came back with the remix which featured artist such as Method Man, Cam’ron, Nelly, Vado and DJ Khaled joining Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz and the song did 6 million views in one day on World Star Hip Hop. Reek Da Villian then went to appear on MTV RapFix Live where he would prove his lyricism and then was interviewed on MTV2 Sucker Free Exclusives talking about the Long Island sound and his connection with Busta Rhymes. In October 2010, he was among one of the few emerging hip hop artist to perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards flowing in the Hip Hop Cypher, where he once again proved to the world that he would be hip hops next icon. In November 2010 Reek Da Villian was featured in XXL Magazine for the Show & Prove section, which told his story to the XXL readers. On December 24, 2010 Reek Da Villian gave a gift to the world by putting out his mixtape entitled “The Gift” as he felt he should have something that he could offer to everyone during the holiday season. The Gift mixtape had appearances from Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott and Lloyd Banks to name a few. Reek Da Villian is proving to the world that he is definitely Hip Hop’s next mega star.
