THE INSTITUTION Shivaji College commemorates its 59th Annual Day to present an overview of this institution and the exemplary milestones the college accomplished in the academic session 2019-2020. Shivaji College was instituted in 1961 by Hon’ble Dr. Panjab Rao Deshmukh in the village of Matiala. The vision of this college is “to become a premier institute of the nation that brings forth bright, skilled and well-balanced individuals”. Almost 60 years now, Shivaji College has not only realised this vision of excellence in academics and co-curricular activities; it has also successfully nurtured several thousand responsible citizens of this country.
