Fandemic is a company that was started by San Antonio’s own Joe Zambrano to help promote music in all its forms. It is a music app that gives information on live music, books tickets, and has a search engine for any city and musical artist you’re looking for. For an artist it is a bene t because it’s an excellent promotional tool that caters speci cally to their fans. We host parties and promotional events at di erent bars, clubs, and venues promoting people to download the app. Q: What are the beneﬁ ts to being a promoter? e money is really good, but I also get to network with so many di erent types of people. I got the opportunity to become familiar with my own city, the great hot spots to be at during the nighttime as well as traveling. We travel all over to the big music cities like Houston, Austin, and Los Angeles. Q: What’s the funnest part about your job? Meeting people is a de nite perk because I am very social and outgoing, and this is one of the few jobs that allow me to do so, and get paid for it. Q: Do you consider yourself to be a good businesswoman? Yes, I consider that to be a main characteristic of myself in daily life. Being a promoter has allowed me to get an outlook on starting a company from the ground up through Fandemic, promoting, marketing, and getting to see rsthand the amount of money it takes to keep a business going. I am always in a business mindset in my professional and personal life. Q: Will you have a future in promotions? I don’t know because as a business management major I feel the sky is the limit! I love doing sales, and am hoping to have an executive position someday. Any business’s future is determined how they market themselves, so in some form or another I’ll always be promoting. Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what two items would you bring? at’s a hard question! I would want to take a picture of my family and probably a TV cause being on a deserted island sounds like it can get pretty boring. Q: What is one habit you would like to change? Being late. As much as I try I’m usually late to just about everything I do so much so that my friends and family lie to me about what time I really need to be somewhere. Q: What is the meaning behind your bar’s name? I would think it’s probably because the bar looks like an airplane hangar haha. A fun looking atmosphere to drink at. Q: Why should people go to your bar instead of others? Besides the fact that we have something di erent going on every night we have Sunday Funday in the backyard. It’s a great set up outside in the back where we have bikini contests, games, sand football, and a lot more one of the best being our GIANT TV to watch football outside while drinking a beer! Q: What is unique about your bartending style? I would have to say it’s my mouth. On top of making drinks I really like cracking jokes and messing with my customers. People know me for my trash talking and really seem to like it and so do I. Q: What is the craziest thing you have seen at your bar?
