Normanyo is a researcher Dand an economist with over 30 years teaching experience at various levels of . He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics with Statistics from University of Ghana, a Post graduate Diploma in Education, a Master of Philosophy degree in Economics and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics, all, from University of Cape Coast, Ghana. In addition to his academic qualifications, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Charted Management Consultant (CMC). His areas of research expertise include development economics, environmental and resource economics with special interest in fisheries, environmental and health effects of gold mining. Dr Normanyo has been teaching Economics, Project Management and allied courses for over 15 years at Ho Technical University.
