With extensive media coverage and notable “Purse-o-nality” participants over the past eleven years, Power of the Purse has positioned itself as one of the most innovative and talked about events in Portland. It has raised more than $2,000,000 in net revenue to support Girls Inc. programming.

ABOUT POWER OF THE PURSE: Portland’s most inspiring leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists are paired with local purse designers to create one-of-a-kind handbags. Each piece is a unique piece of art, which is auctioned off during a live fashion show. Power of the Purse features the fabulous handbags, the creative individuals who inspire the design, and the bright stars of the evening: Girls Inc. girls.
