Last Time Out: Pile Hits 1,000 Points, Tut Scores 27 at Wyoming Matt Pile reached the 1,000 career points milestone and Wanjang Tut scored a career-high 27 points as Omaha fell 82-78 to Wyoming at the Arena-Auditorium on Dec. 17. Tut's career night saw him lead all scorers with 27 points on 10-of-17 shooting and a 7-of-9 effort at the stripe. The junior added nine rebounds, a career-high-tying four blocks and a steal. Pile, now the 42nd 1,000-point scorer in program history, finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and a steal. Ayo Akinwole added 14 points with a pair of threes and six rebounds. Marlon Ruffin chipped in nine points, five rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals. Omaha shot 44% (32-of-72) to Wyoming's 43% (27-of-63), which was aided by 11 Cowboy threes.
