OBITUARY MRS. W. BRADING

It is with regret that we record the death of Mrs. Jane Ann BRADING which occurred at her residence, 27 Arthur Street, on Thursday, July 2nd, in her 72nd year. The deceased had resided in Ryde for the past 60 years, and was the widow of the late Mr. William Frederick BRADING who was a very well-known coal merchant in the town. She did not take any part in local affairs but was the oldest member of the United Methodist Church where she will be missed by a wide circle of friends. The funeral took place on Monday when the Rev. B. A. BATT, of , conducted a service at the United Methodist Church in the presence of a large gathering of friends. Two appropriate hymns were sung. The mourners were Messrs. F. C. BRADING, O. P. BRADING, S. E. BRADING, and G. H. BRADING (sons), Mr. and Mrs. W. TAYLOR (son-in-law and daughter), Mrs. F. BRADING, Mrs. O. BRADING, and Mrs. S. BRADING (daughters-in-law), and Mrs. S. HEWARD (sister-in-law). There were a number of choice floral tributes including tokens from the United Methodist Church and Sunday School. ------
