A quick-fire double from Hakoah winger Anthony Frangie looked to have given all three points to the home side, but they were unable to deny the league leaders from claiming a point. Olympic were at their electric best during the first half. Alejandro Sanchez Lopez outpaced his defender before he slotted home after 15 minutes. The visitors could’ve piled on the score albeit for their wastefulness in front of goal. It was a completely different story in the second half as Olympic’s performance tailed off in the second stanza and Hakoah took advantage with Frangie’s double seemingly enough for Gavin Rae’s side enough to claim a shock upset. However, it wasn’t to be for Hakoah as Burgess struck in the 95th minute to ensure Olympic didn’t go home empty handed. Manly United FC 2 – Marconi Stallions 3 at Cromer Park Marconi Stallions held off a fast finishing Manly United to snatch all three points with a 3-2 win at Cromer Park on Saturday night. There were goals galore in an absorbing contest, which left both sides with a strong case for deserving the win. The teams headed into the break level after goals from James Andrew and Nikola Taneski highlighted an intense first stanza. The second half saw a calamitous own goal and precise Marko Jesic set piece prove the difference for the Stallions, ensuring Dylan Macallister’s late strike was pure consolation. In the end it was a highly contested, but valuable, three points for the visitors as the race for finals positions intensifies. 8 NPLNSW.COM.AU TEAM OF THE WEEK 01: LARGE USE: OVER 150MM WIDE This logo has a smaller ‘®’ symbol FOOTBALL NSW WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEIR SPONSORS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT 02: SMALL USE: 55MM - 150MM WIDE This logo has a larger ‘®’ symbol 9 #NPLNSW ROUND OF 32 - LIVE DRAW - 2018 TUESDAY 26TH JUNE LIVE ON FOX SPORTS (CHECK YOUR TV GUIDE FOR COMMENCEMENT OF EVENT) FOOTBALL NSW FFA CUP REPRESENTATIVES ® 10 NPLNSW.COM.AU TOP GOAL SCORERS NAME AND CLUB GOALS SCORED Jordan Murray (APIA Leichhardt Tigers) 11 Alec Urosevski (Rockdale City Suns) 9 Alejandro Sanchez (Sydney Olympic) 9 Jeremy Cox (Sydney FC) 8 Adrian Vranic (Sutherland Sharks) 8 Joey Gibbs (Blacktown City) 7 Anthony Frangie (Hakoah) 7 Jordan Figon (Rockdale City Suns) 6 Tasuku Sekiya (APIA Leichhardt Tigers) 6 Panny Nikas (Sydney United 58) 6 Jaewook Woo (Bonnyrigg White Eagles) 6 Jordan Murray *Does not include FFA Cup goals WARATAH Cup WARATAH Cup 2018 WARATAH CUP FINALS SCHEDULE SEMI-FINALS Wednesday, 27 June 7:30pm Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC v Hakoah Sydney City East FC Marconi Stallions FC v APIA Leichhardt Tigers WARATAH CUP FINAL Sunday, 15 July 4pm Winner of Semi Final 1 v Winner of Semi Final 2 PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: • match dates are subject to change, pending each Clubs Competition Fixtures • kick off times are subject to change for midweek matches pending what time the lights must go out at the venue • all matches in the Waratah Cup must be played on a synthetic field • Football NSW will determine the venue for the Waratah Cup Final 11 TEAM LISTS - U20’S #NPLNSW 27 Tae Jung 37 Ahmad Safdari 28 Ali Dulleh 38 Brian Sutomo 29 Ericson Ehiozee 39 Theph Theph
