On 24 July 2021, 4:48 AM, a Magnitude Mw 6.6 Earthquake struck in Calatagan, Batangas (13.71°N, 120.57°E - 015 km S 28° W), with the depth of 111 km.

As of 7:00 AM, 30 July 2021, PHIVOLCS has recorded 471 aftershocks with magnitude ranging 1.7 - 5.5 and depth range of 71 km - 130 km. Of which, 117 were plotted and 4 were felt.
