E3) # %H Assyrian Aid Society of Iraq Departments: Z Aid and Humanitarian Affairs Z Health (Medical and Therapeutic Aid) Z Assyrian Education and Dormitories Construction Z Administration and Financial Aid and Humanitarian Affairs In 2010, the Assyrian Aid Society of Iraq implemented the following relief programs: Z Relief Programs in 2010 1. A relief program for (135) families in Duhok Governorate, in Semel, Sorka, Sheiz, Mansoriya and Malta, by the support of Assyrian Without Boarders from Sweden, for the period 17th June, 2010. 2. A relief program for (310) families in Nineveh Plain, in: Baghdeda, Bartella, Ka remles and Ba'ashiqa, by the support of the Assyrian Aid Society of America, for the period 22nd December 2010. 3. A relief program (buying oil heaters) for (100) families in Nineveh Plain, in Batnaye village by the support of the Assyrian Aid Society Our society will continue to support these programs during 2011 to assist needy families and refugees. Z Aid Assyrian Aid Society of Iraq was able to help many people by: • Offering financial aids for (50) cases and buying medicines. +? • Sending some patients outside the Homeland for treatment, through the support of the Assyrian Medical Society. • Helping 336 needy families. • Distributing financial aid for (50) families in different areas within Baghdad and Nineveh Plain. • Distributing(150) agricultural instruments to the farmers in different villages in Duhok governate. • Supporting an orphanage in Baghdad. • Supporting an Assyrian woman to open a micro job for herself by the assistance of Assyrian Womens Federation in Netherlands. • Supporting Hezanke Village in Nahla area by buying water motor. • Supporting Hezanke Village in Nahla area by laying water pipes. • Supporting Dure village in Barwari Bala area by buying gas oil for gas oil generators.
