Greetings from the school

Dear Parents/Carers,

As another academic year draws to a close, I would like to take the opportunity of thanking you all for your continued support of the school. It has been a busy and pro- ductive year at Stanwell and I am sure you will enjoy reading about all the achieve- ments contained in this newsletter. Our pupils are presented with a wealth of opportuni- ties for extra-curricular activities, both in school and in the wider community. We be- lieve that they benefit immensely from taking these opportunities and it is pleasing to see that so many of our pupils are doing so.

Highlights of this year have included our stellar productions of ‘Evita’ and ‘Aladdin’ , the establishment of Stanwell School as a regular blood donation centre for staff and students and the first successful winter of our long awaited all-weather pitch.

I wish you all a relaxing and enjoyable summer break and look forward to the next year of working in partnership with you to provide the best possible education for your chil- dren.

Yours faithfully,

Derek Jones,

Headteacher.
