Day 1: Thursday, June 18: Dallas, PA-Newark, NJ We will depart on a bus from Misericordia University [at an additional cost] to Newark from John Passan Hall at PM. Our British Airways plane departs at PM. You can access your boarding pass 24 hours before the flight. The Group reservation number is .

Day 2 Friday June19: London We will arrive in London at AM. The bus will pick us up where we will meet our tour guide and tour London’s main highlights. Afterwards we will have an ‘on your own’ lunch in the Undercroft of St Martin-in-the Field church and visit Westminster Abbey where some of England’s greatest literary figures are buried before checking into The Hotel White House which will be our home for 4 nights. We will meet at 6 PM for a “Meet and Greet” Welcome dinner.

Day 3: Saturday, June 20: Windsor and - Thames River Cruise The first half of this day will be spent at Winsdor Castle. Enroute we will stop at Runnymede, once a meadow between Windsor and Staines, where the was signed by King John and his Barons in 1215. We will visit three monuments here. One to commemorate the Magna Carta; a second, erected in the 1960s to remember the assassinated US president, John F Kennedy; and at the top of the hill, the Air Forces Memorial. Afterwards, we will return to London for a Thames River Cruise and dinner on your own.

Day 4: Sunday, June 21: Hampton Court- London We will do a Hampton Court Palace Tour in the morning, and then return to London for an at your leisure afternoon. Tonight, we will attend a play in the theater district.

Day 5: Monday, June 22: London on Your Own Today is yours to spend however you choose. The British Museum, Shakespeare’s Globe Theater [with a play?], The Imperial War Museum including Churchill’s War Room, The Houses of Parliament, The Tower of London, The National Gallery and are all possibilities. Dinner is on your own.

Day 6: Tuesday, June 23: Portsmouth This morning we will travel from London to Portsmouth (1½ hrs.) for a visit to its historic dockyards. Here we will visit Henry VIII’s Tudor ship The Mary Rose and the wooden warship, HMS Victory where Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar. Afterwards we will travel to Stonehenge to visit the site and then continue to the Cricket Field House in Salisbury for our next two overnight stays. We will eat together somewhere after check in near the hotel.

Day 7: Wednesday, June 24: Salisbury - Glastonbury We dedicate the morning to visiting some of Salisbury’s main sights such as its imposing Cathedral and its nearby Cathedral close. In the afternoon we will take a short trip to Glastonbury to visit its famous Abbey. Dinner is on your own.

Day 8: Thursday, June 25: Plymouth We will drive toward Plymouth to participate in the 400th Anniversary of the Pilgrim’s leaving England for the US. Here we will see the Mayflower Steps where the Pilgrims sailed to America in 1620; and we will visit the Mayflower Museum with its three floors given over to the story of the voyage of the Pilgrims and their journey to the New World. This includes a model of the ship built on a 1:11 inch scale. We will be staying in the Holiday Inn in Plymouth for the next 2 nights; and tonight, we will have a group dinner here as well.

Day 9: Friday, June 26: Cornwall Excursion to Cornwall, England’s rugged southwestern tip, as well as Daphne Du Maurier Country! This day will include places such as St Ives, St Just, St Michael’s Mount, and Falmouth. Dinner on your own.

Day 10: Saturday June 27: Exeter - Bath We will travel via Exeter where we will stop for some sightseeing and opportunity for lunch. Afterwards we will continue to the charming Roman city of Bath for our next two overnight stays at the Apex City of Bath. .

Day 11: Sunday June 28: Bath This morning we will visit the Jane Austen Center, the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms, and the costume Museum. Enjoy the afternoon at own leisure then join us for our farewell dinner.

Day12: Monday June 29 Homeward Flight Airport transfer and return flight and onwards homeward journey.
