FEBRUAR 2020 AMAGER BIO Et af 00’ernes store pop punk bands Sum 41 kommer til Amager Bio. Med en kombination af arena-riffs og toilethumor ramte det canadiske rock- band Sum 41 verdens radar i 1996. Deres major label-gennembrud kom fem år senere med udgivelsen af ’All Killer No Filler’ i 2001, hvorpå MTV-hits som ’Fat Lip’ og ’In Too Deep’ var med på. Derfra blev bandets drilske pop-punk- stil gradvist mørkere, mere raffineret og fik en tungere, metalinspireret lyd. ’Does This Look Infected?’ fra 2002 havde en mere hardcore lyd sammenlignet med forgængeren, men opnåede stadig stor popularitet med singlerne ’The Hell Song’ og ’Still Waiting’. Da det tredje album ’Chuck’ landede i 2004 var Sum 41s metaltendenser i forgrunden på sange som ’We're All to Blame’ og albummet opnåede en dobbeltplatincertificering. Derfra ramte bandet en længere nedtur og var tvunget til at holde pause på grund af helbredsproblemer. Heldigvis gjorde de comeback med albummet ’13 Voices’ i 2016. I 2019 har Sum 41 igen været aktuelle med nyt materiale og en ny tour. Deres syvende album ’Order in Decline’ udkom i sommers. Det meget politiske album holder intet tilbage og inkluderede sange som ’Out for Blood,’ ’45 (A Matter of Time),’ og ’The New Sensation’. På albummet har de ladet sig inspirere af bands som Linkin Park, Bad Religion og sågar Muse med opråb til et samfund på randen af et etisk kollaps. Til februar tager de det nye materiale med til Danmark når de indtager Amager Bio. (Signature, Date) Abstract This thesis aims to provide a comprehensive and systematic analysis about the growing popularity of Korean pop music (K-pop) worldwide in recent years. On one hand, the international expansion of K-pop can be understood as a result of the strategic planning and business execution that are created and carried out by the entertainment agencies. On the other hand, external circumstances such as the rise of social media also create a wide array of opportunities for K-pop to broaden its global appeal. The research explores the ways how the interplay between external circumstances and organizational strategies has jointly contributed to the global circulation of K-pop. The research starts with providing a general descriptive overview of K-pop. Following that, quantitative methods are applied to measure and assess the international recognition and global spread of K-pop. Next, a systematic approach is used to identify and analyze factors and forces that have important influences and implications on K-pop’s globalization. The analysis is carried out based on three levels of business environment which are macro, operating, and internal level. PEST analysis is applied to identify critical macro-environmental factors including political, economic, socio-cultural, and technological.

February/March, 2008 Ideas of the Season Holidays and Events Images of Belarus Talented and Creative On the Wings of Music Make the World Closer Burst Out Laughing Sum 41 created a new music disc. This disc is called "Underclass Hero", which should help this pop-punk group to be the best punk band after the terrible and unpopular album "Chuck". Canadian pop-punks from Alaska (Ontario) only compose music and songs for a group. They can't do something else, but Sum 41 is cheerful and funny band. Every boy from Sum 41 plays the guitar, piano and different drums. And in 1991 this friends created their own group in university. The name of this collective "Sum 41" (the 41st day of summer) appeared in 1996. This summer day was the first day in a real music life of this band. But only some people know, that Sum 41 had another name "My Nuts Are Huge Kaspir", but it was only little joke... There are many punk groups, which influenced on Sum 41. For example, NOFX, Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Sex Pistols. Sum 41- is a very popular punk group in Canada, USA, Europe and Britain. Some songs were taken for different comedies.
