4 5 OHA Public Medical Program Renewals

• 2014 – Fast Track: • 32,000 members who were slated to term on 2/28/15 had benefits extended to 3/31/15 • If they have not sent in a full application, should do so ASAP • Calls and letters are going out to these members regarding extension – Expedited: • Extended through 3/31/15 – Discontinue use of renewal case spreadsheet – Work with your ROC as needed to troubleshoot • 2015 – Regularly Scheduled Renewals: – Roughly 13,000 members up for renewal in January, February or March 2015 were sent renewal letters (with a full application) week of 3/3/15 – Members will have until 3/31/15 to submit a full application • Renewal line: 844-647-4746

6 OHA Customer Service

• Hiring 165 FT temporary Human Service Specialists to answer phones and process applications!

• We now have 720 trunk lines (up from 420)

• Reporting a 10 minute hold time for the CP queue – Does this reflect your experience?

• SB 1 passed Senate and House • At Governor Brown’s desk for signing (as of 3/2/15) • State exchange to be managed by Department of Consumer and Business Services • This will not affect CP relationship with the OHA CP Outreach Team • Outreach and Enrollment Grants are funded by OHA

9 Oregon’s Transfer System

• OHA is adopting the Solution () for future Medicaid/CHIP enrollment. • Kynect is successful and has similar state Medicaid rules/policies and system interfaces. • Once launched (exact date TBD), Oregon’s Medicaid Transfer System will allow eligible individuals to enroll in Medicaid/CHIP programs only. • This system will not conduct QHP enrollments. HealthCare.gov will continue to be utilized for QHP matters.
