Considered as important as the design of the landscape and the architecture of the buildings, this will create an exciting and dynamic sense of place – somewhere people will be proud to call home. Talented artists have been recruited to interpret themes telling the Beaulieu story. These motifs will link together to reveal the history of the site plus the new development and its context and landscape. A combination of sculptural and functional art will create a distinctive character that is accessible and inclusive for all. Meanwhile, temporary installations and engaging activities will create ways for residents and visitors to take ownership of the public places. Locals and visitors alike will be invited to explore the development through storytelling which will be revealed in ribbons of text, embedded images and way finders.
