With an aim of promoting sustainability, United Way Delhi gave the call of ‘Green Diwali’ this year. Across projects, events took place with zero waste generation, keeping intact the fun and energy of the festival.

The Celebration began with honoring the Child Leaders chosen through voting in Bal Sansad. After which the Child Leaders took their pledge. The same was followed by distribution of Chocolates, Christmas Caps, and socks to all the children which brought a hearty cheerfulness within the kids.

United Way Delhi under its School Support Program celebrated Annual Day at SMDC Primary School in I-Block Sangam Vihar.
Excitement mounted as children actively participated in multiple Dance Performances, Sports Competitions, Fun Contests & Activities, and Magic Show in both the shifts of the school.
Swachhta Umang 2018-19,
Swachhta Umang 2018-19, a South Delhi Inter-School Swachhta Competition organized under United Way Delhi's WATSAN pro- gram at SDMC Pratibha Boys School in Chattarpur.
190 students from 12 South Delhi schools, in which WATSAN Por- ta Toilets is being implemented, participated in the event. Water Conservation Program— Kanersar Village
Eyeing at the larger sustainability of the project, under the school re- construction program, besides the construction of the schools, Unit- ed Way Delhi is facilitating a Dam in Kanersar village Cement Bandhara.

Sanand (Gujarat) School Support Program—Sanand Aiming at facilitating transformation in schools, United Way Delhi is work- ing in the Govt. Primary School (up to class 8) in Siyawada. Key findings of the assessment revealed that the school requires development of child -friendly physical environment which includes minor civil work repairs, installing RO system for safe-drinking water, renovation of existing kitch- en setup, construction of a room and its development as a Computer lab, Number of Students paint work and BALA (Building as Learning Aid) art work. SKY CENTRE SAMASTIPUR, BIHAR The project aims at skilling 180 Location tracker from various districts of Bihar to Samastipur (Bihar) provide them with an opportunity to explore work in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) as location trackers. This project aims at reducing unemployment and chan- nelizing the energy of the youth in productive works to contribute towards nation development.
