2. A poll will take place on Thursday 4 June 2009 between the hours of 7.00 am and 10.00 pm. In some Council areas in the North West Region, the poll for the European Parliamentary Election will be combined with a local poll or local polls. In respect of each local counting area or part of an area contained in the North West region the Local Returning Officer must also give public notice of the situation of each polling station and the description of voters entitled to vote there.
