SONRISE MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES STAR-STUDDED LINEUP FOR 2019 National Recording Artists Anthem Lights and American Idol Finalist Colton Dixon to headline the weekend long oceanfront festival
Virginia Beach– The SonRise Music Festival, one of Virginia’s largest Christian music festivals, is set to return to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront this Fall. The 6th annual family-friendly festival will take place September 13-15th at the 24th Street Stage. The SonRise Music Festival will present prominent national Christian music artists along with a variety of local artists and bands.

SonRise 2019 will feature more than 20 different artists, bands and speakers from across the country including headlining performances by the very popular group Anthem Lights (the talented foursome to over 147 million YouTube views and 1.4 million monthly listeners on streaming services). American Idol Season 11 finalist Colton Dixon, Christian Rock band Disciple, and Sean Curran of Passion worship will perform.. Joining them during the weekend will be many other local artists. Sean G.Park of TVONELIFE is the festival Emcee and will be a special guest speaker along with Nigel “Legin” Anderson. On Sunday, September15th the public is invited to attend our FREE SonRise Sunday Worship Service hosted by International Christian Church.
Each year at the festival we invite our attendees to bring non-perishables for the homeless. We collect , toiletries, canned goods, and gently used clothing. This year these items will benefit 99forthe1.

A one stop shop to make those in need feel good again. They can walk in one door, shower, shave, get clean clothes, fill a bag with hygiene products for the week, get a meal and walk out the other door feeling good about themselves. We don’t want to give a hand out, but more of a hand up. 99forthe1 meets those in need where they already are — there is no need to come to us. With our unique mobile homeless ministry, we are able to lend a hand right where it's needed most.
