This pandemic has created a havoc in the State of Maharashtra. So many lives were lost and every District were under complete lockdown. Despite the odds, every District have tried their best to express their love for Bhaghwan by doing some seva or other. But due to the severity, we couldn’t do much and whatever little we could do is submitted at thy Lotus Feet..

HUNGER ALLIEVATION SEVA:

The corona pandemic was turning the lives of many families’ upside down. Many people were standing outside the hospitals waiting for the discharge of their relatives undergoing treatment. Due to the imposition of lockdown by the Government, they were not in a position to go anywhere to get food and hence their troubles increased manifold. In order to provide service to the patients and their families, the Bhandara Samiti of SSSSO Bhandhara District initiated Community Kitchen from 23rd May to 12th June for distribution of free food to the needy Narayan’s in the Government hospital located at the District headquarter. Food items like rice, roti, curry, chutney, laddus etc. were prepared and food packets were distributed to 8277 needy Narayan’s. till June 2020.

For rendering service to the needy people during the Lockdown period, some of our samitis i.e. Jawahar Nagar, Bhandara, Karkapur, Sihora, Chikhla, Tumsar, Pawni, Dongri(Buj)of SSSSSO Bhandhara, MH initiated distribution of Amrut Kalash Kits. One Kit includes dry rations of 15 to 17 items like Rice, wheat flour, pulses, salt and sugar etc. . that would support a family to have their daily meal, sufficient for 15 days. Under this initiative Bhandara District distributed 87 kits to needy people.

SSSSO Akola District Sai Samiti has been conducting daily Narayan Seva at different hospitals by providing lunch and dinner boxes to patients and their relatives. Seva is performed at Dist. Government Hospital, Ozone hospital, Icon hospital, Lahul Hospital etc. Tiffin box contained 4 chapatis, 1 vegetable, dal, rice, pickle and salad.

SSSSO AKOLA also distributed Amrut kalash to needy people during this lockdown. Amrut kalash contained rice, dal, wheat, oil , tea powder, salt, soaps

By the grace and showring of love by bhagwan sri sathya sai baba ,our buldhana District distributed amrut kalasham to 35 families. This amrut kalash contained wheat flour, rice, toor daal, besan, edible oil, sugar,turmeric,chilli powder, salt, masala powder,etc. Cost of each ameut kalash @550.total cost is 19520

SSSSO Nasik distributed 2500 food pockets & 24 amruta kalashams to the poor people, covid affected people dueing the pndemic.

By grace of our Beloved Bhaghwan SSSSO Chandrapur Distributed 1000 food pockets during the covid period to people who were in Covid hospital, their relatives besides poor people who didn’t had money either to procure provisions nor food because of lockdown. We really thank our beloved Lord fopr this opportunigty given.

Besides Narayan Seva SSSSO Chandrapur also did distribution of Amrut kalas to poorest of poor people in Chandrapur District. All the food items received for the Amrutha Kalasams were cleaned by the Sevadals in the Chandrapur Town Samithi. Later about 70 Amrutha Kalasams were made from it. Then We have distributed 70 Amrutha Kalasams to the COVID-19 affected patient’s relatives, poor & needy families in Chandrapur Distt. .Each Amarutha Kalasamssams contained 04 Kg Rice , 04 Kg Wheat Flour ,01 Litre Soyabin Oil Pkts, 01 Kg Salt pkt, 100 gm Chilly Powder , 500 gm Tur Dal , 500 gm Gram.Total 06 atom . Cost of one Amrutha Kalasams is Rs. 450- Total price of 70 Amrutha Kalasams are Rs. 31500/-.

Dhule District carried out Amrut kalash distribution Seva at Balapur, Ajang and Kalkhede Villages to the families of devotees, who were affected by COVID 19. Total 50 Amrutkalash were distributed in these villages consisting Toordal, Mugdal, Soyabean oil, etc.,

SSSSO Gadchiroli distributed 240 Amrut Kalashams comprising of Sugar 1Kg, Salt 1 Kg, Edible sunflower Oil 1 Kg, Chili powder 100 gm, Turmeric powder 50 gm, Bath Soap 2 nos., Cloth Washing Soaps 2 nos., Tooth powder 1 packet, Tea powder 1 packet and Hair oil. These items costed a total of Rs.300 per kalash and the same has been given to needy people at their premises.

With the blessings of Bhagwan, SSSSO Hingoli distributed 60 food packets to the poor and needy Narayana’s in different public places in the town. This seva activity was done by 2-3 sevadal on 31st May 2021. Almost 60 beneficiaries got the food packets. Everyone was happy and satisfied with this seva activity

SSSSO Hingholi District distributed Amrut Kallash to 11 needy and poor people residing at Village Kadati, Dist.Hingoli This seva was done by 07 sevadals on 20th June 2021. All the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and satisfaction for the said seva activity.

During the Month of April – 2021 ( Ramjan Month) , by the bless of swami we have distributed 22 Kg. Sweet khajoor to 88 Narayan’s to those who are used to with draw their fast of holy ramjan by taking salt at evening due to non-availability any source of light food with them.

On 24th June 2021 Narayan Seva Performed At Narsi Namde ( Birth Place Of Sant Namdev Maharaj ) Dinner Seva Provieded To Narayna’s.

SSSSSO Jalgaon distributed 500 food pockets to covid patients, their relatives & poor people during April 21 to June 21.

SSSSO Jalgaon also distributed 15 amrut kalash to poor people. Since this District is one of thw worst affected District and due to constant lockdown not much seva could be performed due to Government restrictions.

Distribution of lime juice to frontline warriors (police men on duty) during summer daily………..25 beneficiaries

SSSSO Kolhapur distributed 4760 food pockets during the pandemic period to poor people, children, laborer etc., the food pockets consisted of Roti, Vegetables etc., Kolhapur District is one of the most severely affected District due to carona and the authorities implemented lockdown very stringently. Despite the odds, the District seva dal came forward to do this seva for their love to Bhaghwan by following all carona guidelines. The Narayan’s were very happy to receive the prasad of the Lord.

With the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Sathya Sai Baba, District got the seva opportunity to offer narayan seva to those daily wage earners who were passing through tough times due to the restrictions that resulted in their loss of earning.

Food was cooked by our youth sevadal sisters and brothers at the community kitchen set up at the Satya Sai Convent, Narsala village. All due precautions viz sanitization, use of hand gloves and mask, were taken and the food was packed in disposable boxes by our youth.

Starting with 100 packets per day, the number gradually increased to 200 food packets per day and a total of 5303 food packets were distributed in Gargoti basti of Narsala village, Sakkardara, Gandhi Sagar Talav, Manewada Ring Road, , City bus stand, Pande Layout, Sahakar Nagar, Shani Mandir and Bidipeth slums in Nagpur city.

Amrut Kalash Seva:

There were some families in our adopted villages whose source of income was severely affected due to the lockdown. To provide them at least a few days ration, Amurt kalash containing 5 kg Wheat, 5 kg Rice, 1 kg Chana Daal, 1 ltr edible Oil, 1 kg iodized Salt, 200 gm Chilli powder, 100 gm Haldi, Protien powder, Swami’s photo and a Vibhuti packet were prepared by our youth.

475 Amrut kalash were distributed in the adopted villages of SSSSO Nagpur as follows:-

Adyali – 20, Champa – 20, Zunki – 25, Warora – 25, Bramhani – 25, Adarsh nagar – 25, Sawli – 25, Khairi – 20, Bhilgaon – 20, Chikhli – 20, Kolambi – 20, Kondhasawli -50, Khaparkheda – 20, Hingna – 20, Ranala – 20, Gadha – 20, Ajni – 20, Wadhona – 20, Khangaon – 20, Kalamna – 20, Kumbhari – 20.

With the blessings of Bhagwan, SSSSO Parbhani distributed 421 food packets to the poor and needy narayanas in different public places in the town. This seva activity was done by 2-3 sevadal daily in between 1st June to 15 June. Almost 25 – 30 beneficiaries got the food packets daily. Everyone was happy and satisfied with this seva activity.

We distributed Amrut Kallash to 38 needy and poor people residing by the road side. This seva was done by 10 sevadals on 16th June. All the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and satisfaction for the said seva activity.

SSSSO Sangli District Distributed 25 Amrut kalash to 25 needy families which consists of Rice, Wheat , Oil, Sugar and other essential items.

SSSSO Sangli District distributed 315 food pockets to covid center in charge who inturn distributed the same to covid patients in his command. 3 Samithis Subhashnagar,Miraj, & Sangli did this seva.

SSSSO Solapur District distributed 2000 food pockets to poor people, beggars etc. in Solapur.

In the pandemic period of Covid-19, SSSSO Solapur District distributed Amrut Kalasham (15 days rashan for family of 5 members) to poor families. 80 families were benefitted due to this seva.

SSSSO Wardha District distributed 795 food pockets to the Civil Hospital, Wardha and the hospital in turn distributed the same to the patients who were otherwise found it difficult to get food except from the residence of their relatives as outside food is fully stopped due to pandemic. The Hospital besides the patients appreciated the seva rendered by Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation Wardha.

SSSSO Wardha distributed 80 Amrutkash during the covid period to poor people.

Akola Sai Samiti distributed 180 immunity kit at different villages in Akola dist. Like Manki, Sangola, Kanheri, Telanga etc. Immunity kit contains immunity booster medicine, pre covid medicine, vaporizer, masks, Vicks, protein powder.

We distributed 40 Nasal Oxygen masks in Civil Hospital, Parbhani. The additional Civil surgeon and the staff nurses received the masks and expressed their gratitude for this seva activity. They also informed that these masks would be used to the new patients who need oxygen and to prevent the disease of mucormycosis.

OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR DISTRIBUTION

On 21th June 2021 with the help of SSSSO INDIA, Solapur District, Maharashtra has donated the 10 oxygen concentrator to Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College, Solapur.

Sai Vibrionics Immunity Booster:-

The vibro practitioners are integral part of Sri Sathya Sai Medicare Seva in . Though our mobile medicare camps are presently discontinued during the lockdown period, the vibro healers distributed 1786 immunity boosters as prophylaxis.

With the blessings of Bhagwan, Marathi posters for educating the people about Covid – 19 prevention were displayed at some prominent places in Parbhani by SSSSO Parbhani. Many people in the town read the posters and got the information about Covid prevention. This activity Got good public response.

Posters were put up in the city of Chandrapur on what to look out for in CORONA VIROUS Information was provided in each Samithi on how to protect yourself from the Virus. Similarly Posters on each Whats Apps Group information on Vaccination was given from time to time. All Sai Sevadals were actively involved in the campaign.

Creating awareness for covid appropriate behaviour:-

To create awareness amongst the masses, 5 no. posters on SMS (Sanitizer, Mask, Social distancing) were displayed at conspicuous places by our youth of Nagpur District. 300 sanitizer bottles were also distributed to the needy for their use.

186 Balvikas students of Nagpur attended a 10 days online summer camp wherein various topics were covered including “Physical and mental health during Corona period”.

Youth wing of Nagpur organised online “Yuva Vikas session” for college students on stress management during pandemic.

Aweareness through online:

The pandemic certainly had an adverse effect on the mental peace of many as they watched the news of their near and dear succumming to the pandemic. To overcome the trauma and boost the morale, online sadhanas like bhajans, swadhyay, satsang, rudram, vedam, sadhana camp etc. were organised through google meet platform linked with you tube for wider reach.

Online Bhajans:

SSSSO Nagpur organised online bhajan sessions three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday). During the period of nine months (Oct 2020 to June 2021), 93 online bhajan sessions were organised in which average online attendance was 150. Two online sessions of 96 akhand bhajan were also organised during May and June 2021.
