Please Note: The new safari regulation being implemented by the park authorities, has made it mandatory for all registered safari vehicles of the park, whether privately owned or belonging to the lodges, be allocated to visitors on a rostered basis. Thus, vehicles from our lodge cannot be any longer guaranteed for safaris but a vehicle from the day’s roster from the common pool for vehicles will be used for the activity. Though this change is being challenged in the courts there has been no conclusion on the lawsuit yet.

On Wednesdays, afternoon game drives are not operational in Parks as per government regulations. Optional activities are offered to our guests at the lodge which they can take when they arrive at the lodge.

ENTRY/VISA REQUIREMENTS

 As for all international travel, the visitor to India is required to be in possession of a valid passport and visa. Travellers from all countries need a visa. Enquire about this from the Indian diplomatic Representatives abroad OR apply online at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html  Boarding or immigration can be denied if there is a mismatch of passport details mentioned on the visa letter issued by the Government of India and the passport presented at these checks.  The passport has to be valid for a minimum of 6 months AFTER the departure date from India and at least 2 (two) clear pages available in the passport for immigration stamping.

 SATELLITE PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN INDIA

Day 1- New Delhi

You arrive at Delhi’s International Airport Terminal 3. On arrival you will be warmly welcomed by your &Beyond India host and chauffeured to ‘Oberoi Hotel’

Delhi was established between 900 B.C and 1930. Delhi's famous "seven cities" range from the 12th century Quila Rai Pithora, built by Prithviraj Chauhan, to the imperial Shahjahanabad, constructed by the Mughals in the 17th century.

Day 2 - New Delhi

Today after your breakfast you will be met and chauffeured for your private guided sightseeing tour of Delhi:

OLD DELHI

Chandni Chowk - Chandni Chowk originally meaning moonlit square or market is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi.

Jama Masjid- The Jama Masjid of Delhi, is the principal mosque of Old Delhi in India. Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj Mahal, and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is the largest and best-known mosque in India. It lies at the origin of a very

busy central street of Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk.

Enjoy a Rickshaw ride which will go through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi.

If you wish the guide can take you to a nice restaurant where you can have lunch (on direct payment basis)

After the food break with the same guide your sightseeing will continue in New Delhi. This will include:

Drive through Lutyen’s Delhi, driving past Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate and the Old Secretariat.

Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun's tomb is a complex of buildings built as the Mughal Emperor Humayun's tomb, commissioned by Humayun's wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, and is located in Nizamuddin East. It was also the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scale. The complex was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

Qutub Minar - The Qutub Minar, a tower in Delhi, India, is at 72.5 meters the world's tallest brick minaret. Construction commenced in 1193 under the orders of India's first Muslim ruler Qutub-ud-din Aibak. The Qutub Minar is notable for being one of the earliest and most prominent examples of Indo-Islamic architecture. It is listed as a

UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 & 4 – Delhi / Nagpur / Pench National Park

Today you will be chauffeured to Delhi airport for your flight to Nagpur.

You will be met at Nagpur airport and chauffeured to Pench (approx. 02 hour drive- one way)

Arrive at Taj Safaris Lodge “Baghvan”.

With its open rooftop machans and large wooden decks that overlook the shady nullah, guests at Baghvan are constantly immersed in the sights and sounds of the Indian jungle. Rich birdlife flits through the trees overhanging your machan and monkeys chatter excitedly in the dense foliage. The sandy bed of the dry nullah provides a clear path through the dense jungle for the forest's inhabitants and guests needn't be surprised to find a sambar deer on their doorstep in the morning.

Pench Tiger Reserve is named after the meandering Pench river that flows through it and is spread over two states of . A beautiful conservation area set in a flourishing teak jungle is home to various species of deer, tiger and leopard. Coupled with the feeling of having the entire forest to yourself and the undulating scenery of the Satpura hills in the backdrop creates an unforgettable jungle experience. The combination of vegetation, from lush valleys to dry deciduous forests creates a range of habitats for India’s exotic wildlife.

Experience your morning and afternoon schedule game drive with &Beyond Naturalist at Pench National Park by shared jeep

Overlooking the lush forests and grassy meadows of Kanha National Park, at Banjaar Tola Kanha Tented Camp you are one with the environment. Admire stunning river views from the privacy of your own veranda or share the experiences of the day on dramatic decks facing the Banjaar River.

Kanha National Park has ideal habitat for tigers and their prey species. Prime tiger wilderness, it was one of the first areas to be protected under Project Tiger and is one of the largest conservation areas today. Lush Sal and bamboo forests are insterspersed with vast grassy meadows while the Banjaar river forms the southwestern border of the park and provides a steady water source for the abundant wildlife.

Experience your schedule morning and afternoon schedule game drives at Kanha National Park by shared jeep

Spend three overnights at Taj Safaris Tented Camp “Banjaar Tola”. Accommodation is in Luxury Tent with ensuite facilities. Your stay is full board basis with schedule game drives.

Day 8 –Kanha / Raipur / Delhi

Today after your morning safari will be chauffeured to the airport (approx. 04 hour drive) for your flight to Delhi.

On arrival at Delhi airport you will be met and transferred to Trident Gurgaon Hotel.

The Trident Gurgaon is a beautifully designed hotel with set in Gurgaon, neighbouring the Delhi border with Haryana 10 kilometres from the international airport. The hotel was voted ‘India’s Leading Business Hotel' in 2005 and 2006 at the World Travel Awards.

Spend overnight at Trident Hotel. Accommodation is in a Superior Garden view Room with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 9- Delhi / Varanasi

This morning, after breakfast, you will be met & transferred to Delhi airport for your flight to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi airport you will be met & chauffeured to your hotel-Taj Nadesar Palace.

Varanasi is a city situated on the banks of the River Ganges in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world and probably the oldest of India. The culture of Varanasi is closely associated with the River Ganges and the river's religious importance. The city has been a cultural and religious centre in North India for several thousand years. People often refer to Varanasi as "the city of temples", "the holy city of India", "the religious capital of India", "the city of lights", and "the city of learning”.

Upon arrival, you will check into at Taj Nadesar Palace Hotel. Situated in one of the oldest living cities of the world, on the banks of the river Ganges, Nadesar Palace has hosted royalty, statesmen and celebrities since 1835. The name Nadesar is derived from the Goddess Nadesari, whose shrine is located in the front of the Palace. Set amidst verdant gardens, mango orchards, marigold and jasmine fields, Nadesar Palace is a haven of peace and tranquillity.

In the afternoon proceed for an excursion to Sarnath. (Approx. 40 mins’ drive – On way)

Sarnath; is the palace where Gautam Buddha is believed to have given his first sermon about the basic principles of Buddhism, is situated about 10 km from Varanasi. The site houses a number of Stupas, excavated ruins of monasteries and the Ashokan pillar with the four  sided lion's head which is also the national emblem of India. The museum has a rich collection of sculptures comprising numerous Buddha and Bodhisattva images, considered amongst the finest specimens of Buddhist art.

Evening visit Ghats to witness the Aarti ceremony. A sunset boat ride on the river rewards with the magical sight of thousands of tiny candlelit lamps made of leaves and marigolds being set afloat as part of the Ganga Aarti ceremony. 

Day 10- Varanasi / Delhi

Early this morning drive to the Dashaswamedh ghat to take a boat cruise by sunrise. Continue by boat to see burning and bathing Ghats. The best time to visit is at dawn, when the river is bathed in a luminous yellow light as colourful throngs of pilgrims perform their morning devotions. 

Later, you will be met and transferred the Airport to board your flight to Delhi.

On arrival at Delhi airport you will be met and assisted for your international flight to Onward destination.

When making your reservation, please advise us of any specific dietary requirements that you may have and these will be communicated through to the respective establishment.  Gratuities: Tipping is at your discretion. However management of the establishment will be able to assist with guidelines.  &Beyond reserves the right to modify program itineraries, including arranged sightseeing, and substitute accommodations, including vessels and trains, at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond &Beyond’s control. Every effort will be made to operate itineraries as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.  &Beyond strongly recommends that the guests insure themselves against loss of deposit, cancellation charges, medical expenses and loss of personal possessions, and any other foreseeable loss or expense.  Photography During Travel A. &Beyond reserves the right to take photographs or video during the operation of any program or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes during the program and thereafter. By booking a program with &Beyond, guests agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Guests who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves to &Beyond representative at the beginning of their program.

 Guest Obligations: 1. Medical Conditions – the guest must notify &Beyond of any pre-existing medical conditions that might reasonably be expected to affect the Travel Arrangements. The guest agrees and acknowledges that &Beyond will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the guest as a result of any pre-existing medical condition or health issue of the Customer that may preclude, delay, affect or interfere with the Travel Arrangements. 2. Health Issues – It is the guests sole responsibility to a) obtain any vaccinations or take any other health precautions applicable to the country of travel; b) take all steps reasonably necessary (including, without limitation, the consultation of appropriate medical professionals) to identify whether they have any pre-existing medical conditions or health issues (whether known or unknown) that may preclude, delay, affect or interfere with the Travel Arrangements; and c) notify &Beyond if the guest has any pre-existing medical conditions or health issues that may preclude, delay, affect or interfere with the Travel Arrangements.

100% payment at the time of booking (within 72 hours) non- Booking made within 45 days of arrival refundable

25% payment at the time of booking (within 7 days) and balance Booking made more than 45 days prior to arrival 75%, 60 to 100days prior to arrival

No cancellation/retention charge, except for cancellation fee on Cancellation 60 days or more prior to arrival air tickets/ train tickets or deposits made on park drives in National Parks.

Retention of full deposit levied as cancellation charge. Cancellation within 45 days of arrival.

1. 25% Non-refundable advance payment to be remitted within 3 days on receiving confirmation for the hotels booked.

Should it be a last-minute booking, &Beyond South Asia will allow for 3 days from time of confirmation until payment (100%) reaches us before &Beyond South Asia will cancel any services booked. The amount is NON– REFUNDABLE.
