4 2016 MEMBER-GUEST DOUBLES SQUASH TOURNAMENT

The first annual 2.5-3.5 Skill Level Member- Guest Doubles Squash Tournament took place at the Harvard Club on Saturday, February 27th. The tournament followed a similar format as our inaugural Member-Guest event in May, with members inviting guests to compete for the weekend as a doubles squash team. The event was a success with 8 players entered. The tournament was played in a round robin format which made for a lot of squash in one day.

The tournament was won by the young, formidable team of Kirin Kachroo-Levine (Harvard Club) and Kevin Devine (Boston Racket Club). They defeated Tim Monroe (Harvard Club) and Wally Hyde (Union Boat Club) in a close 3-1 match. The 3rd/4th Playoff was won by Julia Fifer (Harvard Club) and Evan Schwartz (Murr Center) after defeating Patricia Wada (Harvard Club) and Jeremie Sauve (Tufts). Thanks to all participants of the event and hope to see everyone next year.
